steven hill miami has the talent and speed on defense to compete with anyone in the country but rozier worrys me . I don't see him as a championship caliber quarterback. He stares his recievers down he never goes thru his reads . But he can run tho . But to beat bama or georgia your gonna have to take care of the football .. but man is that number 80 on miamis defensive line a stud or what.

Our team's physicality almost made me cry bruh. DL, OL, Run game, Tackling shit had me teary. I had been begging for this for like 4 weeks now to be more physical in the trenches, stop the run, and run the ball well. I really do hope they play like that every game because that is what separate good teams from great teams.

I thought it could go either way. Wasn't overly impressed with either team at that point. Miami has some athletes, and can come out of nowhere and zoom off for big gains. That being said, VT played like utter garbage. I get that Miami has a knack for forcing turnovers, but not only were there 4 turnovers by Tech, but several muffed snaps, a botched pitch that practically took away at least 3 points, one of those muffs resulted in a turnover on downs. Meanwhile on defense, I mean just porous attempts at tackling. I mean, half the time, I'm wondering if they even tried. Tech was exposed against Clemson in a game that was nowhere near as close as the 31-17 score indicated (should've been 38-10) in Blacksburg. This just validated it. 0-2 vs. the only legitimate teams they've played. Miami showed just how explosive their receiving game can be. Berrios, Herndon, Richards and Thomas along with Homer in the backfield, that's a lot to worry about. Miami can't rest on their laurels. ND is A LOT better than Virginia Tech and they're not only physically imposing on both sides of the trenches (OL and DL), but they have some athletes of their own. Guys like Adams, Wimbush, Claypool, Stepherson and St Brown on offense, along with one of the strongest LB corps in the country with Coney, Morgan and Tranquill. Miami will have to bring their A++ game. If not, it won't be pretty. No Catholics v. Convicts. These Canes are swag laden gentlemen and Richt is a class act. But Kelly and his army of bulldozers should get the W and continue their march to the CFP.

Rosier still needs to work on consistency and decision making but other than that the team played great overall especially the defense. They were swarming VT all night and it was pretty clear who was the better team from the get go. I just hate how the final score didn't indicate how much better Miami was than VT. We should have won by a lot more but a win is a win. Bring on the catholics next week.

Sebastian Cuervo can't forget the first drive where Rosier steps out at the 2 and instead of running it 3 or 4 times up the middle with Homer, they try 4 of the most elaborate, dumb plays you've ever seen on the 2 yard line. So some of it is coaching making things harder than they need to be. 2 of the INTs by VT were just impressive defense. I thought Rosier did fine. Just clean it up a little bit vs ND.

We need a different tagline for this game. Forget Catholics vs Convicts. Its Canes v Catholics and we will bring them back down to Earth. Everyone loves them but their best wins against USC and NCSU were at home. They beat Michigan ST on the road in week 4 but Sparty had 3 turnovers and they don't rotate 11 beasts on the D-line like we do. It's gonna be a packed house at night and ND is 0-5 in Miami since 1981. Let's get it baby!

Really?? One game and all of a sudden Canes are 'back'? That's right; 3 top 25 opponents, all blown out. VT is an overrated average top 25 team; and this is the first game all year Miami has actually looked 'good.' While Canes were screwing around with a 1 win North Carolina team, ND has been increasing from a #7 rushing attack to the now #5 rushing attack. Only team that stopped ND rushing attack was who, #1 Georgia. Miami gonna get hit by a truck tomorrow!

GL to Miami, maybe they can be the first team since Georgia to look competitive against Notre Dame. 3 other top 25 teams have tried; they failed.
