Haywwood showed how to NOT fumble the bag. Good for him.. and us cos we needed a 3 and d wing guy badly😅

In order for next season to work, Jimmy of course needs to be serious, but also change his game a bit to limit injuries. Herro needs to be on the bench and him, Jaime, Jrich, Ware, and Highsmith can cook. Burks or Robinson should be in the starting lineup to balance it. Improvements need to be make by every one. This team can be a top 6 seed but we will see if the Magic and Pacers hold up next season.

Herro & Duncan are their best 3pt shooters; they need to be the starting backcourt if the Heat want a chance of being a decent offense. Rozier needs to come off the bench or be traded. 3s > 2s, always & forever

I knew it! He shoots the 3 better, great defender, and has long arms like Kawhi Leonard! He don't need to go anywhere!

We didn’t address the issue which was offense. SMH another year of Tyler screening for a shot and Duncan running around like he’s in a horror movie. We were 5th in defense and 29th in offense. We did that with undrafted guys. SMH same over confidence in defense and hoping that the other team have a bad offensive day.

I like the fact the the heat is not breaking the bank to get “star” players… look at the Lakers they got rid of quality players for Lebron and AD and look how that’s going for them.

Every one of these Heat critics needs to relax. We are closer to a championship than it seems. Since Himmy has joined the team, we’ve made the playoffs every year and only been eliminated by the eventual NBA champion that year except for one year. We are not out here getting bounced by Cleveland or the Knicks or any other trash team. 2020 - Lost to Lakers in Finals (Kobe and Nipsey year) 2021 - swept by NBA champion Bucks 1st round 2022 - Lost to Boston game 7 ECF by 1 shot (Jimmy for 3) 2023 - Lost to Nuggets in Finals 2024 - Injury year. Lost to NBA champion Celtics 🤢 Everyone needs to calm down. Injuries have screwed us for sure in a lot of those runs. But the fact of the matter is, we have the pieces, we have the finals experience, and we have the Best coach in the NBA outside of Pop. Blowing up the team right now would be one of the dumbest things we can do. But if it doesn’t happen this year then its time for major changes. Go Heat 🔥🔥🔥

@@gioper3 our 2 best players are undersized non 3pt shooters who make near 50 and 36 mill. A 2 man core who cant shoot 3s doesnt exist outside of this team. And this new cba puts those in this situation on its deathbed. Jimmy and bam not being offensively good enough led the heat to put the offensive responsibility in a guard who doesnt have the skills to shoulder it. Then because he gets 6moty and your the one seed, you end up paying an abhorrent contract that he cant fulfill. But his agent was able to negotiate this because of what tyler meant to THIS team, not what would be his value elsewhere. A hypothetical; what if jimmy and bam turned into kawhi and jaren jackson back before tyler got paid? Both of them shoot 3s, kawhi takes any middy. Would tyler herro have the same responsibility he has now? Would he even be a starter? How many shot attempts? Usage rate? Your best players inability to offensively perform to their contract leaves you looking for offense anywhere. The future of this league wont have a 2 man build like this again, one of them have to able to shoot 3s

Maybe Haywood starts as Jimmy plays Point since he will be at high usage in a contract year? Butler / Herro / ? Rozier / Burks / Richardson Highsmith / Jaquez / Larsson Jovic / Robinson / Love Adebayo / Ware / Bryant * Jovic & Robinson as spacers can be interchangeable in the starting lineup. Now, the only way to not run it back is to trade Tyler to open up cap space & get POA/wing defenders as depth.

I think many of our fans look at the national narrative too much. It’s like team has to prove its fans and national media critics wrong. The difference between the 2-8 seeds was only 4 games. I figure the same distance this year. Get healthy. Tyler on the bench!

If ware gets to play this season, spo better not put ware at the 4 and bam at the 5, bam will never progress to be a scorer. Pat Riley and spo could be the reason for the heat fall.

@Wilcoranking how different let me 🤔 maybe because bam won't be stuck at center and at 4 he can actually space the floor and work on his shooting. Bam was so busy defending the paint at all times when he's at the 5. At the 4 he can be more free without being stuck in the middle the whole time

He'll be doing essentially the same thing, the real difference is they can more easily switch on front court players without getting size mismatches. When Pat Riley coached the Heat, Mourning was the center but at 6'10" he was shorter than centers like Ewing, Shaq, Olajuwon, so PJ Brown the power forward 6'11"would guard them 1on 1, because he had longer arms but although wiry could hold his own... That didn't make Alonso any less of a center. Bam isn't doing any spacing he's not a perimeter shooter he'll do just what he already does. The only difference is not having to compensate for coverage breakdowns with another lengthy shot blocker in the mix... Another reason why the Lauri Markannen idea doesn't work.

The only teams with draft capital as contenders is OKC, otherwise they would have to trade him to a bottom of the barrel team to get picks with value.
