Offense was forced to not be able to play quick because the Bills are ultra disciplined and fundamentally sound in a way on D most NFL teams are not. All those misdirections aren't going to work 90% of the time against them.

@@matterman2003 It does; they just dictated the game because we allowed them too. They are a big team so they can’t keep up. They instead pushed us around and we and the refs allowed it. When we played aggressively; flags were thrown. So that too played into what went all. Didn’t switch Howard unto Diggs. Next match up Ramsey will be there and Kader will be in his intended spot.

Their defense was not affected by the misdirection because they knew their offense could cover. Which the did. So if they are scoring at will; then on defense you can take risk. Which they did.

Definitely a disappointing loss today. And as ridiculous as it might sound this beat down might actually be a good thing in the long run. It'll certainly humble the players and motivate them to improve. It's still early in the season and I doubt the Dolphins will suffer a loss as bad as this one for the rest of the season. Having said that, the commentators were definitely on Allen's jock

A loss is never good, but Tua said something interesting. He said it was humbling and that it was needed for some ( not exact quote and not sure who he's referencing). My hopes are we see a pissed off team next week and they take it out on the Giants. Unfortunately, it looks like the offense will have to win games until the "GREAT" Fangio gets his side of the ball going. If it ever happens. The jury is out on two of our biggest ( most expensive) signings. Chubb and Fangio. AVG has more of an impact than Chubb and AVG is being paid considerably less.

As a Bills' fan I can actually vouch for this. Allen played horrifically Week 1, tried to play hero ball and was singlehandedly lost them the game. It humbled and humiliated him. It showed him the importance of being a team player and more importantly just take what the D gives you. And from Week 2 on he's been a different Josh, playing responsibly and actually *sliding* instead of getting smashed trying for an extra yard or two. This may be a blessing in disguise in the long-term if this wakes the Dolphins up. Looking forward to Week 18!

Fins fan here. I was at the game and Miami's defense wasn't. The offense looked good the 1st quarter and then it was crapsville. This gives the Bills the momentum Miami didn't need them to have. The Fins have a lot of work to do to tighten things up. Go Fins....

I was not a fan of the Fangio hiring. In a "what have you done for me lately" league, I don't see much to celebrate in Fangio's recent portfolio. The defense was considerably better under Flores. But the offense was worse for it. Now, it's as if we have flipped the script. I know the Dolphins have some key injuries on defense but what I'm seeing looks like a basic system breakdown. I think Miami is a playoff team this season. However, if we aren't carrying a good defense we're going to once more be one and done.

Even when Allen loses to Miami he still destroys them. Check the box score of last years 140 degree game, does that look like a team that won the game to you? You can’t possess the ball for less than 20 minutes, get outgained 2.5x and more than doubled up on 1st downs and consider that a victory because to me that’s considered a beat down.

Fangio was supposed to make our defense better. They look worse. We contested Allen better last year. WTF

Miami cannot generate qb pressure with only 4 pass rushers. They have to blitz more I believe.

Fangio has allowed 84 points against the 2 playoff teams we have faced (Bills and Chargers) … I can’t believe it gets any worse but how can you have faith.. this is rough.. baker,Kohou and co looked awful…

Tua and this offense is all predicated on timeing and precisuin passing. When that timing is disturbed Tua is lost and off his game. The more concerning thing to me is our headccoach and his stubborness and god complex about this offense. His 4th down call last week didnt cost us, but this game, hoing for and not handing of to Achane on 4th down, but instead throwing a derp pass. This is a pattern that will lose us more games in the future. Dont overthink it coach.

Let's hope this is a teachable moment and not the start of a fall

As a Bills fan I don't say I agree completely but we did not get burned by the refs as we have in other games. So I will say I had no complaints with the refs today so it may have been in our favor, yes. Still, it didn't change the outcome of the game. It just might have been a closer score.
