I grew up in an atheist household. My mother refused to incorporate religion into our home, due to her parents (my grandparents) using religion as a tool for punishment and as justification to be hateful. I have since found God and I wish I could bring my mother back into the light of Jesus Christ and show her that true Godly people do not use Him in such a twisted way. Unfortunately there are a lot of Christians out there that use Him as justification to be cruel while convincing themselves they are doing the right thing. Be humble, be still, hold thy tongue, and God will make you strong and bring you many joys. My life has gotten so much better after embracing The Lord! There are evils in America that wish to stop people like me from living a life of love and peace. You may think I am a nobody, and that no one is "out to get me," but you are wrong, for the evils of this country are out to stop ALL of us. The devil has infiltrated the deepest levels of our government, media, and entertainment - but we will not let him win!

This tells me that the devil only attacks those who ACTUALLY obey God's law... not sure what part of Rev YOU were reading from (since you didn't give a chapter & verse). You probably also believe that women can be pastors and think that people can't lose their salvation, huh? Jesus was constantly saying that if you love me, you will obey my word. Sorry, but if your theology doesn't include a changed life, then it's just religion. That same pastor also said that "salvation that doesn't change you, doesn't save you." He is right.

@lindatenn8028 I'm sorry, but I feel compelled to respond AGAIN to your "Christians don't obey" comment... that is nowhere in the bible. I don't understand how you can claim to be a Christian, but don't feel the need to want to please God. The true nature of a real Christian is a heart that wants to please God. How do you please God? By obeying his word. Jesus, many times told people to "go and sin no more"... that tells us two things... 1. He is instructing (commanding) you to stop sinning... 2. He wouldn't tell you to do something that was impossible for you to do. Of course, if you are still an unsaved sinner, then yes, it would be impossible. But when you are saved, you need to learn how to crawl, then walk, then run in righteous living. Sure, you will stumble every once in a while, but you get back up and pick up where you left off. Witness to all of your friends... they will either get saved or they will stop hanging around you. Either result is fine. New converts need to build relationships with other Christians asap. My point is... being a Christian should result in a changed life... not perfection, but heading in the right direction... opposite of where you were going . When you want to please God, you do what you know he tells you to do... and none of it is "personal revelation." God will never tell you to do something that conflicts with his word. Reading the Bible and being under the preaching of a pastor that will hold you accountable. The moment you start believing the lie that there are parts of the Bible that you don't need to obey... you are in trouble.

@lindatenn8028 I'm just reading the Bible tonight, I came across a scripture that supports the "God will never give you more revelation than you are willing to obey" comment that you said wasn't biblical... Luke 8:18 (words of Jesus) "So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.” Pretty much sums it up as far as I'm concerned. Jesus CONSTANTLY said "why do you say you love me but don't do what I tell you to do?" and "if you love me, you will obey my word." I honestly think you need to reevaluate the quality of your Christianity. Jesus is coming back soon.

I'm not hearing anyone say that the death of Jesus is the only hope for salvation from sin. Jesus is not just "another path to enlightenment;" apart from faith in his death on the cross as your only hope for salvation, you will receive the wages of sin, which is eternal death in hell. "Belief in God" is not enough to save anyone from hell. Believing that Jesus is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" is one's only hope.

I have spoken with Christians who have converted from Islam in Iran and other countries. There is a revival happening there. Iranians say as much as half of the people in underground churches there came to Christ through direct revelation.

I think there's a lot of people wanting a cultural alternative to the current sad state of society. But unfortunately, I've not heard any of these celebrities that are supposedly converting actually articulate the gospel. They all have said something to the effect of being attracted to the Christian moral ethic, which is good and understandable. But that's not the gospel. You can agree with the moral precepts of Christianity and still not actually be a Christian. The gospel is Christ's righteousness for you and your sins cast on Christ. But I'm not hearing MIA, Brand, Peterson, or anyone else actually articulating that basic core truth of the gospel

Becoming baptized doesn't make you a Christian. It just makes you a wet sinner. You must first be born-again. I hear no one in the media claiming conversion mentioning that they have done this. This is anti-Biblical. The Bible also never mentions "confirmation." The process is: saved>repentance>baptized. Baptism is the public display of your salvation. Baptism means nothing without the former. All these celebs are doing is just giving people false assurance as they're led to hell.

I was an alcoholic, he began coming in my dreams. Speaking to me in the middle of nightmares saying " you will stay sick until you follow me" I woke up and woke my husband up at 4am. I was on and off a cane and had been hospitalized for a small stroke amongst many other things like daily vomiting. When I began to turn from the alcohol I was attacked by demons constantly. Until about five days in when I begged God to take me back and I had had that alcohol on the alter. He heard my prayers. I remember waking up and the colors of the world were brighter. I could feel him pushing me through daily task. For months God stayed so close to me Speaking in my dreams and answering questions I would be praying on. Everyone could see that gravity no longer held me down, and the scales were removed from my eyes. The bible began to make more sense. The stores became so compelling I couldn't put it down. What was nonsense to my mind became oxygen. Thank you, Father for your love. Thank you Jesus for saving us and thank you Holy spirit for being the lover of my soul!

Hi! As someone from a Soviet culture (now an immigrant in the USA) I believe that the resurrection was staged by the Romans, as explained in a popular book where I'm from - "The Gospel of Afranius"; like many others, I read it in childhood and never thought about this question again - until coming to the USA and noticing a stark contrast in the discussion of this question. What's wrong with that explanation?? I'm confused, what am I missing here?..

I'm literally crying. I LOVED MIA's music since 2003. Her last album was the last secular album I bought before getting serious about God when Paper planes came out. Its incredible how God is reaching out to all his children all over the world and bringing them home.

I've always found this person to be super spicy and interesting. People and their development are truly fascinating. Especially those with brains that won't stop pushing them. Like this person. What a trip.

Her mothers prayers were answered.

I never knew anything about MIA. I never knew she was cancelled, i didn't know she was Indian or British, i had no idea. I only even know of her music from her guest appearance on a song several years ago. But she comes across super down to earth, and very smart. Would love to have her as a good friend! 😊

My journey into the Christian faith happened around the same time!! Wow. And the Holy Spirit said there would be a famous person be public about their conversion. Turns out it’s been many famous converts to Christ. Thank God for this awakening. On earth as it is in Heaven! Even God told us to pray for it. So I do.

She is so based. They LOVED her in the music and fashion industries but they tried to take her voice and make her a pop star- take the MIA out of MIA so to speak. She’s always been true to herself. Mad respect! Makes me want to go to church

I got baptized a few months ago. I tried to share my Facebook video, but people couldn't open the link. After a few days, my account got blocked, saying "that someone tried to enter in it." This only happens because Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

He is and will always be the "only begotten son of God". Ephesians 1:5-6 says having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved. NKJV We are adopted he is begotten. Begotten of God means to share the same essence of God and his nature we only share his nature by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit but not his essence.

Good for her for having integrity

I didn't expect MIA as a guest at all

I’ve met Jesus too! I’d love to talk with her about this. This made me very happy listening to this

I like this format better than the IRL where everyone has to talk as fast as they can to get a word in, and everyone gets constantly interrupted.

Two things come to mind while watching this. John 1:1 "The word was with God and the word was God." and John 14:16 "I am the way the truth and the life." MIA seemed to have two focuses, the Goddess she was named after and her understanding of her gift of the power of speech through art and music. And also, her inclination to be drawn to truth. I think we are both the players and limited programs of reality (definitely with freewill, and our deeds here, but also through our perspectives). How we see and think how the world works is adjusting our headsets so to speak to see the world more clearly in that way. A pessimist might see misery and so that's what they are tuned into...and that's the reality they get. And so on and so on. MIA, seemed to have a profound realization when she realized, after the fact, that she was named after a Goddess of music and an entity that turned thought into speech....and I say it's likely quite profound b/c without her knowing this she had become a successful recording artist. Buying a shirt that said "Jesus Sad" on it, and then him coming to her directly is also very profound. It's as if she was almost there to finding Christ, with her understanding and appreciation of Truth and that the word was God and with God....and quite literally....Jesus Sad. If you tune into those teachings, and really believe and look for them in the material world, the Bible (at least Jesus's teachings and the New testament for me) open up and change your life and perspective on reality. Sometimes I like to look at all of history as the Old Testament ....not just what was recorded in a book. The other cultures that had Jesus like gurus or teachings or reflections of God are just out of focus, and the crystallization of all those thoughts and prayers are answered in Christ. It's like God the Father, looked down from above on all cultures and history, and gave us what we needed, not what we proclaimed we wanted/imagined/prayed for exactly. It gives agency to all cultures and people, that thought. I think this is why Christ comes as an inverted fulfilling of prophecy, it takes a bit of creative thinking to make the connections. As an artist too, who loves mysticism and the power of Jesus teachings and their affect on the material world (on ourselves mainly, but when we get it really right, on others too) I came to Christ much the same, through truth and trying desperately to understand what we are doing here as artists and people. Sorry for rambling. Freedom of Speech is key (especially as artists). Christ is the way to be (especially as people). To lead you bleed...and that he did....by example and self sacrifice. I wouldn't typically do this, or admit that I do this, but I remember when I first saw the video for borders. I thought: Wow. I thought MIA was on our side. She has such a big voice and could use it for good if only she knew Christ. So, I prayed for her and I pray for her every time I listen to her music. I remember thinking to myself that I had to choose to support this artist I loved, or not, and my "gut" told me to just continue to love her because God's love is more powerful than the evil who convinced her that the new world order was somehow for humanity, when in reality it is against humanity. I am so happy for MIA and I so happy that she can be a voice against the evil in the world. She, like Julian, has been a martyr for us and I will absolutely never forget to pray for her as I jam to her music. Her lyrics are intelligent and the vibe is hip hop heaven. Welcome to the good side, MIA. We have cookies.

Leaving our borders open with no way to vet people is leading to violent attacks in our communities across our nation all for a Democrat vote and control of the masses by our corrupt government.
