Im kinda new on this. Is there a specific version of yeelight that can be used a gateway or all of them are?

Do you know if it can be connected to Google Nest Hub to display temperature?

A lot of idiots commenting here about 0.1...0.2 differences in temperature. First, they are not expensive and proffesional devices. For few bucks they are amazing for what they offer. Second, do you think that your thermometer you already have in the house shows 20,5 C for example, there are really 20,5 there? No, could be between 20,3 and 20,7. Your thermometer isn't more precise for sure. Third: that one showing more degrees is because it was manipulated during recording, so the hand temperature influenced it. You can see it tends to decrease and align to others. It's there necessary a Harvard degree to see all of these?

if i use this inside my cabinet can it detect the temperature inside the cabinet?

How they can be calibrated?

if the gateway is used and linked with Alexa is it possible to trigger a routine based on temperature eg if tempreture is below 18c trigger routine to boost heating or can you just view the tempreture in Alexa

is the gateway expensive?

The problem is you can only connect it to the app via bluetooth which means "nearby" which means you cannot read the temp online if you are away.

Yeah without additional hardware you can't. But If you have a Xiaomi Gateway or a diy HomeAssistant one you can access it from the Internet too.

Battery update in October 2023?

HOw long does the battery last in the new version?Also,can't you just connect directly to the device to see the data via bluetooth?In the video you said you needed a gateway,please clarify.

yes You can connect directly to a Phone but it doesnt stay connected and it takes a while to connect. it would be better to connect to hub or gateway. something like a homeKit or HomeAssistant

Is this hygrometer always has Bluetooth activate or there is a possibility to turn off the Bluetooth in this hygrometer?

It's a BLE device. No need to turn off its Bluetooth. It's always ON in this regard.

First time I see the first vesion of this product. Actually why this product is nowhere mentioned on Xiaomi official website?

does it have any internal memory? I mean if I place it in my garage with no wifi, could I check historical temperature?

Use the same user at the both phones

Nice. 3°C difference is all what matters.

I bought MI temperature meter 2, my iPhone show 19c of my location in weather app, the device show 24c , my room might be hotter than my city weather.

Yes that is always the case. It measures room temperature.

It also depends on where you are. For example, where I live it‘s usually colder than where the weather station(s) are.

this is crap, i bought 3pcs. all with different reading 1.5-2 degrees celcius difference from each unit
