It’s scary how good this run was. 1. very intelligent to use a weird combo with focus on shield bash into AED bc of the 40 fire head hitzone and poor fire other hitzones. 2. That area transition AED was jaw dropping 3. Overall very well done. THIS is an iceborne speedrun. Well done. The time too haha 1 second!

That song hit right in the feels when you watched rainyy grinding the f out of at nami on stream. Big GG and major props for not giving up on this PoS. Oh, and not going into savage axe mode in phase 1 was new right? My memory says I never have seen you doing that on stream.

nah, I switched it up later on as part of a new strat, no savage axe a1 > charge left over phials into shield after 1st topple, then lure to a2.

I'm really confused by your playstyle here. When she's down and you're not in savage axe you don't go for SAEDs and when you are in savage axe you don't do the typical triangle, circle combo with maybe a well times AED right when the monster is getting up for another knockdown or clagger. Instead you just spam AEDs when she's down. Isn't that losing out on damage or am I missing something here? Also does recovery up affect the health you get back from health regen augment?

he's running a focusless build and saed doesn't contribute as much to the headflinch threshold since most of the damage will be wasted hitting other parts, so there's no reason to use saed. i don't know the exact dps numbers, but wet nami head has a pretty crappy raw hzv and a really high fire hzv so it might be better to spam aeds since the elemental multiplier on aed is much higher than ed1 and 2. recovery up affects health aug yes. it also affects safi armor hp regen

'When she's down and you're not in savage axe you don't go for SAEDs' He doesn't go savage mode in area 1 because he wants to get the clagger right at the start of area 2. If he goes into savage axe mode he will overshoot the flinch threshold and she will stagger later. He wants to get certain flinches/claggers at the right times to max out on deeps basically.

he needs to focus damage on the head to cause topples and avoid dehydrating nami, saed spreads the damage out everywhere
