i find it fitting how this has a part of Pride of a Nameless Hunter in it. after all, Nergigante is also a monster hunter in some ways, just not nameless.

A fun little ost fact, the name for Arch Tempered Velkhana's theme is called "Iceborne's End." This to me implies that these arch tempered flagship themes acknowledge that they are the end of their respective games/eras

Remember the time arc temper Nergi was a pain in the ass to slay

Tbh he was way more pain in the ass even compared to Fatalis, i remember my hands were shaking so bad after defeating him solo, he was especially nightmare when you fought him on co--op..

​@irvancrocs1753 compared to fatalis.. I've killed ol fatty 10 out of the 200+ quests I've tried Alatreon is worse bc of the unreliable elem dps check but fatalis 3rd phase fire is BAD

ik im late to the party but for me slaying arch tempered was easier then my first encounter on zorah magdaros T-T

Damn after coming back from years of not playing mh I can say it feels great to be back in the hunt.

I just realized that In the last story quest in the dlc game called MONSTER HUNTER iceborne we don’t kill a monster at all

A Monster among Monsters. This Fight was quite something i have to admit.

Best version I have found.

I had taken a break several months long and when I returned, I thought, hey, I'm familiar with Nergi and I'd liked the other AT fights, so why not face AT Nergigante right away. Five carts later I finally won, with five minutes left on the clock, so shaky and sweaty and pupils dilated with pure stress that I was afraid I'd have a stroke

Nothing will ever top the satisfaction I got from bagging this asshole for the first time. I was shaking, sweating, and my heart was beating so hard I thought it was gonna stop, but by *GOD*, did that victory feel earned. Nothing from Iceborne even came close to topping it, and I have my doubts that anything from the series' future ever will.

Ohh no. My PTSD.

i love the monster hunter music. they have some of my favorite ost's in all of gaming.

Nerg is Godzilla. In that last Shara scene everyone was just like “let them fight”

Damn this theme will never grow old. Number 1 since I remember before the claw shot not being in the game he was the peak of the hunter's game and deserves this theme. PS: 1.Arch tempered nergigante 2.raging brachydios 3.behemoth 2nd phase 4.safi jiva 5.rotten vale fight (not vaal)

I miss fighting the Vroom-Vroom Nergigante. Or Nergigante on Ice if you prefer, fits better with Iceborne theme.

"Nice to meet you again, my friend. Shara is no longer dangerous, and I must thank you for it. May I just break some body parts before capturing you? Oh come on big boi! It is gonna be a piece of cake!" (It will NEVER be!)

this track *sounds* like pure destructive evil

The true test is if you can win with high rank like is ment to be

I mean the reason 2# for this title is because he was the last update for Monster Hunter: WORLD Before The whole of Iceborne. Hence, World's "end".
