⚠️⚠️ पर्सेंटाइल म्हणजे काय ? ⚠️⚠️ CET cell कडून घेण्यात येणाऱ्या MHT CET exam मध्ये निकाल हा टक्केवारी % मध्ये न देता पर्सेंटाइल मध्ये दिला जातो. पूर्वी CET exam एकाच दिवशी एकच पेपर व्हायचा. पण आता विद्यार्थी संख्या आणि उपलब्ध परीक्षा केंद्र यांचा विचार करून ही परीक्षा १-२ अठवडे चालते. एका दिवशी दोन सेशन (१० ते १) (२ ते ५) असे संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात विविध केंद्रात परीक्षा होते. जर परीक्षा ६ दिवस चालली तर ६*२ =१२ पेपर काढावे लागतील. हे १२ पेपर समान तर असणारच नाहीत. मग एखाद्या दिवशी पेपर थोडा सोपा थोडा अवघड असू शकतो. याचा परिणाम विद्यार्थ्यांच्या गुणांवर होऊ नये तसेच अवघड पेपर आलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांवर अन्याय होऊ नये म्हणून CET cell,NTA सारख्या संस्थांनी ४ वर्ष पूर्वी एक नवीन प्रक्रिया अमलात आणली पर्सेंटाइल ची. या मध्ये एका विशिष्ट दिवशी एका विशिष्ट सेशन च्या टॉपर ला १०० पर्सेंटाइल देण्यात येतात व इतर विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या मार्क्स नुसार पर्सेंटाइल टॉपर ल विचारात धरून मिळते. मग समजा आज च्याच दिवशी दोन सेशन चे २ पेपर झाले. एका सेशन मध्ये टॉपर २०० पैकी १८० गुणाचा आहे आणि दुसरा पेपर थोडा अवघड असल्याने त्या सेशन चा टॉपर १५० गुणांचा आहे. मग त्या दोघांना हि १०० पर्सेंटाइल दिले जातील. ह्या प्रकियेमुळे कोणत्याही विद्यार्थ्यांवर अन्याय होत नाही. परंतु... समजा जर एखादा सेशन अवघड पेपर चा आहे आणि त्यात एक विद्यार्थी अंदाज लाऊन १९० गुण मिळवले आणि तो त्या सेशन चा टॉपर ठरला आणि प्रामाणिक कष्टाने पेपर सोडवणाऱ्या मुलांपैकी त्याच पेपर मध्ये १३० स्कोअर आला. तर १९० गुण मिळवणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्याला १०० पर्सेंटाइल मिळतील आणि १३० मिलवणर्याला किती पर्सेंटाइल मिळतील याच स्पष्टीकरण NTA, CET cell नी द्यावं. जर ह्या प्रक्रियेत एकच टॉपर विचारात घेतला जात असेल तर अश्या केस मध्ये हा इतर विद्यार्थ्यांवर अन्याय आहे. सोबतच NTA, CET cell नी त्या त्या सेशन च्या टॉपर्स चे मार्क्स सार्वजनिक करावेत जेणेकरून ११० पडल्यावर ९७ पर्सेंटाइल आणि १३० पडून सुद्धा ६० पर्सेंटाइल असा वाद निर्माण होऊ नये.
