EDIT: For those of you curious about Devil's Deal, it actually needs protective polish to be worth using over the Fine Kamura Rapier, so you will lose out slightly on EFR (Roughly 20 EFR less) but this is more than made up for due to the blast damage (which admittedly blast doesn't feel amazing in Sunbreak like it has in some of the previous games). I recommend substituting 1x Attack and 1x Handicraft from the Peak Performance build for 2x Sharp decos and 2x Attack for 2x Sharp in the Blaze of Glory Build. You will be able to maintain Purple Sharpness for at least 1 minute and you can use either a flash bomb to give you a window to sharpen or a whetfish to sharpen fast. Damage multiplier for purple sharpness is 1.39 vs 1.32 for white so it's a significant increase to damage and the weapon has very little of both sharpness levels so you also extend the life of it's sharpness significantly with PP. Coalescence does increase status build up so there's a decent synergy with having a blast weapon. But most importantly, it's a weapon that look BADASS as hell and what's the point in playing Monster Hunter if you don't look good while hunting? :p

I was lucky enough to get a QS 3 talisman with a 2-2-0 in sunbreak. I use in a few builds

For sacred sheath,do you recommend using lv3 quick sheath? Considering without it will give much wider counter window. Really fun build btw👍

I'd say that if you wanna counter, iai counter is still the way to go. You only wanna use sacred sheathe for the combo, and you can easily skill swap during a big window if needed. Not having QS3 hurts LS gameplay too much imo

Quick sheathe is still a must have even if you use sacred sheath, the reduced counter window is worth the tradeoff for a shorter time to get to the charge. Getting to the sheathed state faster means you can use either the dash or the hyper armor during the attack to avoid an attack or go through it and still maintain dps

I wouldn't actually recommend using both scrolls exactly the same with the redirection playstyle. You could together with Small bombs have one scroll with Serene pose and the other one with the new silkbind counter. That way you can actually always get to red even without attacking a monster and have a decent wakeup (in multiplayer and with Buddies you WILL get sleep at least once a hunt). Using sacred sheathe in theory would get you a better wakeup but that's out of the question since you kinda rely on both scrolls having the same setup so you can actually use the swap as just a parry. It just happens to be that the Harvest Moon/Serene Pose button wouldn't get much use to begin with so I think you can sac this for better and more consistent wake ups

For the first build I think it is better to get critical eye +7 instead of maximum might +2 as you will gain +10% affinity with each

You're correct, changing out the mighty deco for the expert deco will give the same crit but make you less reliant on upkeep max stamina. Good catch ^^

is that the mr 100 boss LS on your peak performance set? is that weapon the ideal weapon for that set even though the set doesnt build for blast

It's optional, the blast build up is still strong even without any additional status build up and it has the same base damage as Fine Kamura Rapier. Rapier is better in terms of sharpness though and has a four slot instead of a three slot, it's also much more easily obtainable so I recommend you work on the Kamura weapon if using the PP set

For the comfort build specifically, does recovery speed affect blood rite? I’m feeling like using protective polish instead because i could use that 90 seconds of infinite purple.

Recovery up will affect blood rite, recovery speed only increases how much you heal your red bar after taking damage. Recovery speed is a 1 slot, whereas protective polish is a 2 slot. So you can swap them for something like steadfast or more grinder decos but not PP!

It's legit. I have used modded legal talismans for damage testing but not for these builds, sometimes you get mind broken after doing thousands of melds and getting almost nothing for it xD It can be available through melding and you're likely to get either a QS2 or better with 2-2 slots if you grind melds. QS and WW are lower tier skills so they roll pretty often, you just have to luck out on the slots

Heroics is very niche now considering how easy it is to get dango adrenaline and it does the almost the same thing (at lvl 3 it gives +30% damage when you are below 10 HP) heroics has a higher hp threshold but it uses too many slots to be worth taking unless you build around it specifically

How do you unlock Fine Kamura Rapier? I'm up to MR 70 and its not able to be crafted

I haven't had that much trouble previously playing MH Rise on the switch, though I did move over to PC once I knew that Sunbreak was coming out at the same time on both. If you have trouble landing counters I recommend just hanging around in the training area and repeatedly countering the stomp and projectile attacks, if Iai Spirit Slash is too hard then you can stick to foresight slash and play old-school style. Foresight slash has very generous i-frames and it's actually much better at avoiding certain attacks or roars with tricky timing.

I play MHRise since it release on Switch and i have no problems with it. i don't have many Steams friends who play Rise on PC and i love play Rise on the go wherever i wanted. I think you should customise camera settings of Rise to get better views and angles.

You can use at least 2 pieces of barioth and slot in 1 point of QS if you don't have a talisman for it, similar to the budget sets in my elemental builds video. You really only need a 3-2-1 or 2-2-1 slot talisman to have a decent set

@@noblord8643 there's an easier way to skill swap, using a controller you can press right or left on the D pad and select the scroll icon, then you can just press up or down on the d pad and instant skill swap rather than the usual LT X+A input

With a similar adrenaline build, GS can do 10k+ damage on wake up... So yeah it's still a little bit stronger :p

You can substitute a 4 slot and a 2 slot for protection+ and protection into the build! If you replace the gauntlets in the comfort build with valstrax braces -eclipse you can fit it in and only lose out on 20% affinity, which is a loss of about 40 EFR but if that's what it takes to get comfy then do it!!

Wtf is it with all these people, specifically Asian people late at night going with 50% affinity, you straight up so less damage than 90-100% even with attack boost 7
