Just one thing nobody mentioned, touya was the favourite. Endeavour was gently with him and cared enough to make him stop training so he didn’t kill himself (it didn’t work)

yeah, I just reckon that after shoto was born, Endeavor’s morals changed as he was taken over by greed. And I can only imagine it got worse with the grieving of Touyas ‘death’

That literally makes zero sense. Shoto is the favorite because he’s endeavor’s masterpiece. He favored Shoto over the rest of children because Shoto had fire powers with no weakness(es). Shoto is the reason why endeavor got married and had children. Endeavor’s way of getting Touya to stop wasn’t great. He dumped the dissuasion of Touya using his power on Rei. Rei was the one who was in charge of stopping Touya from using his fire which backfired because Touya wanted Endeavor’s attention. He neglected Touya and he only noticed Touya using his ability when Touya approached him. when Touya told endeavor something he learned about his ability, endeavor realized Touya is using his powers and he yelled at him for doing it. Endeavor clearly not understanding why Touya is doing this, which is to get endeavour’s attention because he abandoned Touya. Touya knows the only way for endeavor to pay attention to any of his children, is for them to prove that they are not failures. None of this would have happened, if Endeavor was a good father and did not abuse his family.

​@@catherinemoon1244 it actually does make sense like it's obvious from the clips that Enji only cared about Touya he was actually worried about him that's why he stopped Touya so that he won't harm himself, Endeavour only saw Shoto as an object I don't think being an object means that someone cares for you that literally is the opposite, Shoto was Enji's favourite object while Touya was Enji's favourite child and the only thing he should've done was make Touya understand in a better way so that Touya will also understand that using the quirk is harmful for him I don't think Enji will ever wanna hurt Touya intentionally but he hurt Shoto on purpose yet no one understands this so it is true the only child Endeavour actually cared about was Touya now he is caring about all of them but truth stays being an object is worse than being a failure in your parents eyes cause atleast you are seen as a human but the masterpiece is just a robot for Enji

@@catherinemoon1244 but touya was treated like an actual child. Shouto never got to play, he got beat, he was forced to train for years, he barley knew his siblings

Not about the scar - What Todoroki said in the Sports Festival Arc was purposely rather vague, and even if Midoriya and Bakugo may have an idea of what happened, its very different thinking something and then actually seeing it :333 I may be wrong though
