Next thing I need to know is: How many pairs of tactical pants do you need to store 128 rats neatly. Imagine snake coming back to motherbase with bouquets of rats in pants looking at ocelots' confused face.

This mission is a torture if you understand Chinese: Each time you pick up a rat the radio will reset back a tick. The broadcast is some 1980s (presumably from Taiwan or LA) news segment about a heat wave killing 38 people and something related to a gang fight.

Even replaying the white mamba mission gives you a lot of heroism points, you just have to extract all the child soldier (using the helicopter gives you more points)

You can Pick up as much as you want.. but you only get Heroism for 128 of them! as he show in the video... he picks 250 but only get heroism from 128.

Fulton all of the child soldiers out of "the white mamba" mission. You don't have to travel far to get there, the child soldiers are easily tranquillised, it's easy to not be spotted and the white mamba can be tranquillised from a distance so you don't even have to fight him. 10 minutes maximum and over 4000 hero points last time I did it.

Guys this is key.....I myself did not implement and forgot to do so When you shoot the right rat, shoot the left rat as soon as you start walking to the left side so that the RIGHT RAT awakens and starts running away. If you shoot and walk at the same time, you'll perform it correctly. The mistake I made was I shot both of them, then approached as I walked they both woke up. Hope that makes sense *English is not my first language I apologize...* I do speak 3 other languages though :P

I remember playing mgs1 seeing the rats when Master Miller calls and I thought "what eye for detail..." I think he gives a quick bio-class about the rats in Alaska as well... Ever since then seeing a rat in a mgs game is like finding clover four.

Still works as of 7/31/2017. Lay on the ground so you can speed up the pick up process. Works like a charm!

Equip a tranq sniper rifle, water pistol, and a stun gun. Blaze through the whole mission without killing anyone, and use the Water pistol to defeat the man on Fire. Try to Fulton any wild animals you see. max heroism = 5k+ just as much as the White Mamba quest, but waaaay easier depending how you do either.

Water does not always work, Jan 2022 and your water pistol didn't work, ocelot even came over the radio to say so, mine was level 1 so that's probs why

During the fight, if you avoid the tunnel you entered from, you can leave from it instead of it getting blown up

I’m not sure if this still works but if not just do the c2w mission. You can s rank it in just under 2mins (1:40) and get 1600 heroism. It is also good in promoting your soldiers class.

It truly works, I got rid of Demon Snake insanely fast, and someone else said that the fastest way is laying down, and he is right, crazy fast 👍

11/3/2020 still works even with d latest patch thanks edepot! In case you are having problems with the rat running off just tranquilize d both of them, then dive to them without the both moving.

It's 2021 and it still works :D

As of 9/19/19 it still works. I really had to figure out how not to scare the mice off, even after tranquing them.

You have to go slow and shoot the rats in the order shown. If you don't know how to do it, then simply follow EXACTLY every single movement in the video. Move snake to the exact same spot and shoot exactly like the way shown in video.

@@edepot, I did exactly like the video. I walked up slowly then shot the rats...right first, then left. Then I slowly walk, crouch, and even crawl over but they still both wake up. I remember doing this glitch before...I thought it was patched because both rats keep waking up.

The code hasn't changed since 2016. There are no more programmers to fix things. Just walk exactly how the video walks, at the exact places. Use the same weapon. By the way, you should use a stronger tranquillizer if they wake too early. Then when you can repeat it, find the pattern, because you obviously are triggering them sooner than usual.

Dawg it’s really easy to get out of demon snake. Extract 15-20 children in the mission white mamba and after about 2-4 replays ur blood should be gone.

Heroism point and demon point are 2 different things. But what he doing gives both of them. It's not the real goal but it can help yeah. If you want to modulate really fast your demon point, you can make or destroy Nuke. In one (or 2 if you are really extreme) you can change your state

I think doing the White Mamba mission and extracting all the kids is a much faster method than this since Voices can be quite a long mission. Also in White Mamba the mission area is much smaller meaning you will spawn very close to the objective and can save a ton of time from not having to run so much.

Sorry, but defeating Sahelanthropus costs a minute. It's much faster than getting there, collecting 128 rats and finishing the mission while you get at least 1000 heroism per try. Adding skiped cutscenes and loading while starting the mission again you need 1.5 minutes at maximum for 1000 heroism at least. That's way more efective. You just have to destroy Sahelanthropus fast enough so the chopter can't reach the battle. Otherwise it's getting a little expensive except you disarm Peaquod completely.

it's still expensive because, after some times, the reward in gmp for the mission would be lower than the cost of deploy. I know because I tried it.

If you back track, & get near the bridge you'll hit a checkpoint & won't have to redo the whole mission over & over.

heres the thing though I get more heroism just fultoning the kids in white mamba mission 4500 or so and it doesn't take near as long as what the video shows. I mean it would probably take at least 10 minutes just to pick up all the rats not to mention getting there then dealing with the man on fire. When I can just do white mamba and be done within 10 minutes

It's really easy to shoot both rats if you use the drug that induces reflex mode.

The rats scatter when i try to collect them. Did i do something wrong? Edit: just tried it again, works. You sort of have to rush to the rat on the left to collect it.

You can get over 4,000 heroism on White Mamba (Mission 23) Fulton extract all the kid soldiers. 7 easy minutes for over 4,000 heroism over and over again.

26th November 2017 tried 4 times & it doesn't work at all, Yesterday was working just fine update: it still works, i was doing it wrong, you need to shoot those two rats as fast as you can also if you missed up & the rats start to run around use checkpoint option
