lets gooo! yeah it's exciting times for mgs especially seeing david Hayter recently gives me hope for more mgs projects, the level of nostalgia for arguably one of the best games ever mgs 3, hopefully they do it justice, mgs veterans like yourself know whats up! good to hear from ya!

I have no nostalgia for Metal Gear but I think that the og title screen is just way more interesting

hey remember the trial version? it has the same title screen so maybe its an hidden massage that theres an upcoming demo and thats its title screen

Sure the title screen looks subpar to what we are used to, but I don't think it's that bad. We could be also looking at a demo title screen, which (correct me if I'm wrong) I believe the 3DS version had a different version from the demo to retail launch title screen.I wish Konami did an English translation of their press conference earlier today.

Wouldn’t it make sense to have the shot be the Patriot? I feel like they shouldn’t be afraid to tell this remake pop. MGS series is known for pushing the limits in terms of graphics on whatever system it is on so why not do it again instead of playing it “safe” oh well

@@mycardboardbox I don’t see anything wrong with adapting 3 to the similar controls to V I’m not trying to be a downer I’m just suspicious because they don’t seem to be handling their IPs well and it makes me worry about them mishandling MGS

I like this title screen, very ambient instead of thinking how cool Snake is I'm thinking of how cool it would be to be Snake

I have no nostalgia for Metal Gear; I got into the series like a couple years ago with MGS The Twin Snakes (but I watched a longplay of the first two games first so I don't miss any story), then MGS2. But I think that the original titlescreen for MGS3 looks cooler and this one just looks boring; the og was something that was specifically made for MGS3, showing off CQC, but this one is just boring forests and stuff, or just locations in the game. They probably just have it to show off the new graphics, but if they added some interactivity in some way, like moving the camera? Idk, it would be better. And I heard someone in another video mention that it would be a good idea to have it show more locations as you progress through the game.

The game looks great, I'm not sure if it would retain the old kojima quirkiness. But it is japanese made so it would have some.

It looks fine. Delta’s title screen is only “disappointing” because Konami built it up by making a big reveal-announcement for it. Is that even something they normally do? For title screens? If we had never seen that until the first time we boot up Snake Eater Delta to play it ourselves, I’m sure we’d all be too excited to start the mission with a young Naked Snake (again) to stop and go ewwww at a rather nice looking title screen. But with Konami revealing little bits of the game here and there which are nothing major, but just enough to spark the inevitable online comparisons between the new and the old. It’s just to build hype, good or bad; doesn’t matter which to Konami. They know the game is going to sell a ton of copies anyway so any more online talk about it will only drive up the hype even more.

If they eff up the joy aka big boss ill be pissed a title screen lol couldn't care less
