Rick Dom looks just as good out the box. i love this look too but Dom is one of those kits that just look good no matter what. very unique

My Review: This took less time than I thought it would and looks way more difficult than it is. ==The Kit== A very nice looking kit that drastically improved on the very dated base kit, though the assembly was a bit finicky especially of the legs. Would’ve been nice to have some clearer instructions as some parts definitely needed to be put in before others. Also a shame they only made closed fists and trigger hands as it limits the poses it can pull off. On top of that, the kit when finished has close to 0 posability, this is mainly due to how old the kit is, but also the resin parts restricts certain moving points as well. Therefore you can't really do much more than bending the arms. ==Painting== Used mainly 3 shades of purple and 3 shades of grey, but quite unfortunate the shading on black is completely gone after the flat coat.

Great work, might pick one up and do a weathered sand brown.

Ah, the reason why I didn't pose is because it really can't move apart from bending the arms. The knees with the conversion don't bend, the base kit itself doesn't allow much horizontal rotation of the limbs, the front skirt doesn't move so can't lift the legs up. Head doesn't rotate sideways with the add on parts. And there isn't any open hands so the only thing you can do with a closed hand is have it pointing down

hey man, how did you get your hands on the gaianotes paint in the UK? I can't find them from any retailer in the UK and I don't see how I can get them from outside of the country due to international shipping restrictions.

The only concern that i haven't started building gk or conversion kit is the cleaning process so the paint won't peel off when doing masking, so what's the suitable way to clean gk? Just soapy water or you need some degreaser and a ultrasonic cleaning machine?

Can you make a video talking about gluing? Cuz I'd started into resin everything looks nice until I glue them together the parts surface have some kind of white frost and I wonder what am I done wrong. Too much instant glue? But some parts I only applied a dip of instant glue the white frost still appear near the surface of the parts later on. My environment is pretty dry not humid at all.

Hey saw your email, are you sure those are glue marks, even if they are, glue marks shouldn't be visible. Do the marks appear before or after flat coat?

I think so, the 1.5 only changed the joints so the outer armour should fit no problem

ngl, this resin dress up takes a really good looking kit and makes it look pretty bad. your paint job makes it look very tolerable tho. love the shading/highlighting.

Everyone has their preferences. Some people don't fancy how busy resin kits make, and other model kits like mechanicore but personally I love them

I guess it's me being self conscious that I think some people would find the talking annoying and maybe some people don't care what I think, that's why I started leaving them in the comments as an option. I guess I'll put commentaries for builds that require them in the future, but there wasn't anything worth talking too much for this build

@@JLGunplaUK i actually like the sound of your voice. Its soothing. I prefer your commentary above all else. What you think, was it fun? Things to watch out for, the good the bad and the ugly. Is it worth it? Shod I stay away? You know, all the things a good review requires. You are actually one of my favorite builders! Watching videos with no commentary is about as fun as watching paint dry. Extremely boring. If I wanted to do that, I'd go watch one of the Japanese videos with the sound turned off. Also, the last thing I want to do is read a review. Please don't take this as disrespect. I actually have more respect for a good all around review. Good resin reviews are hard to find. Especially one's with your amazing talent.
