The MG Marvel R Electric is dubbed as a lifestyle SUV. Fully electric and spacious, the Marvel R represents a new generation of a luxury SUV concept that combines sporty driving, safety and a striking design. For this, MG uses three electric motors, which result in a range of 402 km*. The MG Marvel R has its origins in the Chinese group SAIC Motor Corporation Limited (previously Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation). SAIC includes Roewe, Maxus and MG. In China, we have already had a look at the Roewe Marvel R. Inside the Roewe Marvel R, we find a 12.3-inch Instrument Cluster and a 19.4-inch Head Unit. Same goes for its Chinese brother. With a 19.4-inch Head Unit, the MG Marvel R, along with the Roewe, represents the top rider of screen size on our #screensstudio database. What's special about it is that the Head Unit is mounted horizontally, rather than being a freestanding unit on the dashboard, which is recessed into a glass surface that ends in the area between the driver and passenger. The digital cockpit is fully digital and networked and is based on the new MG iSmart connectivity system. Characteristic for the new connectivity system are over-the-air updates, audio streaming services and real-time data.

Is a great car...we have ours (Luxury RWD) since a few days...unfortunately, none of the testers noticed that the speed display is tiny if you show on the right part of the display's something else...but the display shows permament giant right the radio station...although the sthet also in the center display. And MG does not manage to activate the sound control...and the connectivity to the cell phone does not work...although we have tried it with 4 different...The navi does not find our company which is on Google Maps...also there are very few options to change the map display. The display brightness does not work on automatic and the two functions side strip detection (almost tears the steering wheel out of your hand if you do not have it firmly in your hand) and the constant warning front collision (they already know that you drive in the city towards cars that are at the traffic lights in front of you) are a pain in the ass and have to be reset before each journey...as well as driving mode and recuperation because the box forgets this after each stop. This is extremely poor of MG and will remain despite new software (which by the way does not work OverTheAir.... although promised). Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Thanks for the input. We are benchmarking lots of new cars on 3 continents.
I like the MG Marvel R RWD a lot, but its small useful 65 kWh battery, with a real autonomy of 250/300 km being very generous and with a ridiculous 90 kW DC charging power, makes me think that it is not a option would be as an electric vehicle for me...🤷♂️😔
I don't understand, did it take more than a minute to start the vehicle? 🤔😱
