I agree that the MG Comet is not for everyone. It's a very niche car, but it's perfect for people like me who are looking for a small, fuel-efficient, and fun-to-drive car. I've driven mine over 3589 km and I'm still in love with it.

I own MG comet Play Gamer edition and have drove over 1000 kms for my office commute, I echo with each of your points. MG comet is not every one's cup of tea, One should consider their requirement before making this choice. I am lovin it so far ❤

Tiago provides less range, who buy tiago, at least buy nexon, don’t buy tiago if you want full fledged car.. this one is fine , you can buy it as an alternative of bikes, great option in that case.

Very well-written review! The parallels between the Nano and the Comet EV are striking. They are both compact, spacious, and fuel-efficient cars. The only major difference is the number of doors. I'm sure that if Tata had released an electric version of the Nano, it would have been very popular.

The Major Problem for this CAR is its Price, 11 Lakh for a 2 door small car not many will pay this. MG needs to keep its cost under 10 Lakh for Top Variant !

MG comet is best as a secondary car... I would still prefer petrol/diesel cars over EV as my Primary vehicle... But in cities like Delhi, Banglore and Mumbai and looking at their traffic conditions Comet is just 💥💥💥 (as a secondary vehicle and day to day usage)...

Gagan sir, I think a better comparison for this would be a Mahindra Reva/e2O. This is a league above in terms of features, quality, performance, comfort and price, but essentially have the same use case! And I think this is a good car, we Indians deserve premium world-class products too :) not a ‘worlds cheapest car’ or the worlds cheapest EV car!

Reva was a very early iteration of EVs. Respect for reva for what it was in its era. However, technology is miles ahead now. Li-ion battery, BMS, Motors, platforms, everything is very very advanced now.
