Have done test drive for both. Mg astor pickup Has lag, rear seats have poor thigh support. Features loaded but driving experience less

If you want performance the. Don’t buy suv if you want to experience luxury and full tech with beautiful looks and amazing infotainment just blindly go for Astor now a days vw interior quality is sooo cheap I own both so don’t try to start a conversation 😉

Virtus front suspension comes with anti roll bar but in astor it is missing and astor has soft suspension setup due to which astor lacks in highway stability

Good detailed comparison and yea..Astor is a family's delight and is so pleasantly made up in the inside. The 360 cam & the soft touch leather r groovy. I'd not fancy the wiki robo as it's gimmick to me. Taigun yea scores in driving dynamics & fun behind the wheel 😇. I had test driven n did detailed analysis/survey the taign gt plus, Astor 1.5, kushaq 1.5, creta and seltos for a market survey firm a month ago..i was happy with Astor's 1.5 pickup and handling too. Guess the 1.5 has the grunt that 1.3 may lack

Astor has longer overhangs. Greater wheelbase means more space is liberated inside the cabin.

Well, Taigun might be better at driving, but at comfort, luxurious interiors, features, and looks Astor is definitely ahead of Taigun..Further, Astor is no slouch either as is evident form its near 10s score for 0-100..Even on safety front Astor is quite good (as its electric counterpart Astor ZS is a 5star safety rated)..Finally, ADAS gives you some of the life saving feature (e.g. collision warning/protection, pedestrian protection, blind spot monitor, Adaptive Cruise control, etc) which are not present in any other car of its price range..Overall, in my opinion Astor is a better overall package..

MG Astor offers better Quality Luxurious interiors, Fit-finish than Taigun. In SHORT, ASTOR For Built Quality & Luxurious INTERIORS. TAIGUN for 1.5 TSI Engine. VW has Compromised & are offering fragile Chinese interior Overall Quality.

1.3 vs 1.5 nope u are not doing it right..... just go for 1.5 vs 1.5 and then tell the difference

Very true!!! He is test driving 1.5 litre Taigun & comparing it with 1.3 Astor which is a bit of a mismatch !!! I have driven both the cars & found Astor more fun to drive & worthy of its price…

I am a gr8 fan of volkswagwn.I drove polo for 10 years.When i compared quality of taigun with polo i was extremely disappointed .Cheap quality plastics .Indocators ,car internal reading lamp buttons are so poor built that i thought it would break up easily using in 2 or 3 months. Quality of MG is far better than volkswagen . As volkswagen is merger company with MG building Zs Ev . At the end conclusion is buy CBU cafs of volkswagen and skoda like tiguan,kodiaq . Or go with Astor ..

@@manjuswamy123 I love it. It's premium and drives well. I am okay with the 1.5 CVT pick up sluggishness. You can do the 1.3 turbo. Astor is not for folks looking for mileage.

I think vw virtus is better than the taigun in terms of highway stability though virtus is a sedan but the ground clearance is same in both

Of course it’s Taigun… I booked Astor before , but later came to know that one of my close friends having MG hector and it’s giving him the engine noise after one year and he advised me not to go withAstor… then I cancelled it and own the VW Taigun …. And I’m very much happy with it 👍

Just 1 question how much Taigun has paid for this?. Seriously you are picking only 1 good point from Taigun and speaking a lot about and I do agree but this is nothing like too much different very slightly. This is really poor compared that in Astor 2 adults and 1 kid and in taigon 3 are you serious? plz do some real-time testing. I have taken both car test drives and finally booked MG Astor turbo. Astor is far better than comfort and good for a long drive, Yes pickup is better in Taigun in initial speed but after crossing 3k rpm Astor turbo works much better. 2. Interior is far far better, the way you are giving the number is based on riding quality if you would have added this for too then Taigun gets 3 to 4 and Astor 10 out 10 no doubt. 3. What about ADAS compared? This thing proved your video is totally biased. ADAS itself a huge feature and deal-breaking. Adaptive cruise control is an excellent feature and only xuv 700 offers on his top model 22 lakhs+ but here you are getting it in just 18 lakhs( on-road price). LKA, 360 camera, collision warning all are top safety offers. 4. Again you forgot about ismart app? much valuable feature. You can start your car without Key, lock the door, start AC, check car status. 5. Just for adding 1 more, I do also agree somehow that AI robot is a kind of a gimmick but you explained very basic things in your video it seems you have less knowledge. Using AI you can close the sunroof, control AC, open and close the driver window, get any information from Wiki but personally, I prefer ventilated seats, and Auto-dimming IRVM features there are much more. I only suggest please read all the features and all details before explaining and g making any comparison video. Jagaran has a great reputation and this kind of very basic and biased video only reduces the credibility of your channel.

I have been grown reading Hindi Jagran papers since my childhood ( unfortunately not reading now :) ) Another point viewer who is watching your video and has taken a test drive knows the truth. If your journalist intends to give some favor to any brand and not honest with other brands, then people can easily catch this kyuki "Public hai sab janti hai" :). If he explains and compares everything honestly, then, people will never say like that as bcz they know this thing already and more imp they will appreciate your channel and your journalist knowledge for their honest and informative content.
