Which you finalized by paying 34 thousand more than seltos htx you will get power driver seat 6 airbags blind spot detection ai steering modes lane assist rear assist big panaromic sunroof 360 degree camera turn signal camera big instrument cluster and many more traction control hill decent control

@@aska7835 no doubt Nissan kicks is a good car but the 1.5 na engine is not peppy to drive and low on mileage some issues on hilly areas

What would be your recommendation xuv300 W8(o) (top model) or MG Astor super variant ?? for petrol manual. Your recommendation will help me a lot on booking. My major requirement is safety and rear seat comfort for major access to and witin city

Go for Creta (Diesel) only.. Even if you purchase E variant you will get other things done after market within ₹50k and make it like EX variant.. And in terms of exterior-interior looks, feel and comfort it is the best..

Does the absence of paddle shifters make a difference while overtaking?

Yes at times it does because the autoboxes, both CVT and torque converter take about half a second to respond to heavy throttle input.

This car misses on features like ventilated seats, wireless phone charging and few others which you mentioned. So is there any chance that we could see these in new model and when do you expect it to be released with the updated model. I am planning to buy this car but i will book it next May or June. What do you think will MG get new model with these features by than?

Base model is value for money, whereas the change in price rate is bigger towards upper model. The second model should not be more expensive than one lakh. Super model

With so many beep possibilities some driver may get confused. I hope It is different sound for different warnings and a visual indication as well.

If you want manual then go for Creta. The Astor petrol manual is lethargic, especially at lower revs. The engine really has to be worked to make it going.

Perhaps the most under engineered powertrain in segment Both Creta and Tiagun has 6 speed manual or 7DCT this has 5 speed manual or 6 speed TC Power is also least in segment

Resale value depend upon market demand if the product will sell in good nos the resale will be better and if the product will be doomed then you will not get more buyers

You're saying DIESEL VARIANTS ALONE as if there are more than 2 fuel variants. 53% Diesel means 47% Petrol which in itself is a significantly competitive and high percentage when compared to the previous decade or even 4-5 years ago as well.

Yes, it mainly because price difference between these two fuels has diminished in last 4-5 years. Now with turbo petrols , even the torque performance of petrols has improved to level of diesels

Depends on your priority. If you are a keen driver then definitely Taigun or Kushaq. For everything else Astor.

Ride and handling is very good. Not just gimmick.

While the car has AI and modern features and boasts of best in class infotainment , it's unable to fix basic USB feature like folder scan. Even in Hector it has the same issue. Songs stored in multiple folders in USB stick cannot be played based on your choice as there is no folder scan option. All songs gets mixed up and it plays in a system driven random order! It's a basic USB feature available on all mp3 players and entry level cars. It's unfortunate that a hifi car like this is unable to provide basic features while it boasts of AI. Repeated complaints to MG has not helped Car drive etc is good

if only this 1.3 was the same as Kicks.

I think they brought the petrol as a filler till Indians catch up with the EVs, which are a bit pricier. This model is just the MG ZS EV with petrol engine and connected car features.

Just does not have basic features like wireless charging auto dimming irvm

I feel the Suzuki Scross can do all of this with less gimmicky features and more value for money even today.

There's no good SUV card under 10laks onroad price for Middle class

I had booked but then cancelled again. This car is very cramped from inside, Rear legroom is good but that’s because it has very less under thigh support. And then there is transmission tunnel in between, hence its very cumbersome to allow seating for third passages, At front, the legroom is very very cramped. The middle walls of gear tunnel will poke your legs again and again, I really wanted to buy, but The space and comfort is very important for me if I want to plan long trips . Sad but true, very nice car but very cramped, even the Tiguan feels better from inside

Astor 1.5 litre petrol engine is lazy, keep that in mind. If you can live with that then Astor is way above Sonnet.

@@prathammalkani5232 The Astor naturally aspirated engine takes its own sweet time to pick up speed. There is definitely lack of performance especially in the lower rev range. Quick overtakings on single lane highways and roads will be a very cumbersome task. For sedate driving it is ok. Engine is otherwise smooth.

I agree. The 1.5 is a pathetic performer. Almost made me scream. The 1.3 litre is exactly opposite but there is no manual transmission with that.

20 lakh car MG astor don't have wireless charging, auto dimming, cool glovebox feature 🤣🤣🤣

Not sure of the build quality.. crash test like NCAP rating?

ZS EV got 5 stars and this is the ICE version of the electric. So rating should be 4 or 5 stars for this also.

It's British. Current ownership is Chinese but that has nothing to do with car's technology. Even Volvo is owned by Chinese but that doesn't take away it's Swedish USP. Same with JLR.
