These are my genuine reactions, criticisms, and feedback of the anime, while holding its predecessor on high regard given it is a direct sequel to Initial D.

Spoilers for MF Ghost: Five years before the events of MF Ghost, Mt Fuji erupted. The five courses in MFG all have some hazard that correlates do something that happened cause of the eruption. Odawara has the death zone, Ashinoko has the slippy trap, Manazuru has Eau Rouge, and the Double Lane has the water trap. That’s not snow on the Ashinoko GT, but tonnes of volcanic ash mixing in with the road, making it extremely slippery

The fact that Nozomi's VA sang the OP of MF Ghost and is the voice of Rae Taylor From I'm in love with a villainess automatically makes her B E S T G I R L
38:16 It's volcanic ash, I believe they mentioned this in the manga.
Myogi looks like hes part of the commentator of mf ghost , imagine myogi for special guest (top gear style) 😂

@@dylanmccoy6539 You know, when the video popped up in my recommendations video scroll, I saw in the cover that Nozomi and Ren were either shocked or something else and saw Myogi readying his fist looking like he wanted to kill somebody.

It’s not the shifting that is being compared it’s his ability to remember the course after just watching the demo videos
Aiba is getting hard to defend especially when u realise the age gap between them

Not really, considering he has no clue how old Ren is. It’s easy to assume she’s in her 20’s like Aiba.

I just realized something, earlier keisuke mentioned Kanata has a weakness. After seeing him mentally doing the course i think i understand what he meant. Those run were in good conditions , next qualifiers is under wet conditions according to the preview. So perhaps his achillels heel will be sudden weather changes. Thats my take on it anyway. Great work as always Myogi 👍

Accurate as a former British-man myself you get used to the rain especially in London given it basically rains in London basically year round if it’s not snowing. And you just walk around with a Hooded Jacket on much like Kanata here.
It's said the season 2 will be on 2024, and 2024 is just 2 weeks away Lol

Its true, spanish argentinian comment here, so, spanish traslation. Terminar la temporada de esa forma fue realmente malo, pareciera incluso que fue por algún problema de producción algo como la confirmación de una segunda temporada con la primera a medio producir, o alguna cosa del estilo. Incluso por los personajes que están en la pagina y que luego ni aparecen.
TBH, I prefer Initial D. It spends more time with the characters than MF Ghost. MF Ghost focuses more on the racing, which I really don't care about. I wanted to see more of Kanata and Ren looking for his father, or Nozomi (best girl) getting closer to Kanata. Basically, more character interactions.

HOWEVER, it also happens that not everyone gets more off time with each other outside of racing. If not considering the OVAs, movies, and the Drama CDs. But yeah, honestly MFG doesn't spend too much time with its characters, not even having the Godly Fifteen recognize each other outside of racing, and their motivations for doing so.
Dude stop pausing the video every 5 seconds you're turning a 20 minute episode into a nearly hour long video
