Just listened to this whole thing while doing homework. I always loved the concept of fan albums. Ever since looking for millions of edited comps of Kanye's scrapped album, Yandhi, the idea of talented fans mixing and editing songs to their liking and adding new spins to leaked songs made the concept pretty fun. I wish i had enough talent to create a fan album of my own, but i guess i'll just have to wake up one day and decide to learn music (Never really got any interest on it until my last years of high school). The idea of a collab project between DOOM and Tyler was always a prospect everyone thought it would happen one day, specially considering both artists seem to hold praises to eachother. Unfortunately, fate always seems to take us to unexpected ways, and DOOM passed, closing any chance of that collab project to happen. On the bright side, fans can take up the mantle of the villain and do projects like these, that keep the flame burning and the DOOM fandom still invested into the artist even after his unfortunate transition. I really love how calm and relaxed the beats are. Never in my life i would think i'd fall in love with a lofi type beat sampling Bound. Each and every song keeps you hooked on what Tyler song will be sampled next, and what DOOM verses will be used for it, which is the best thing that someone does in a fanmade album; keeping you invested onto what crazy combination of beats and verses will come next is what makes projects like these shine. (Take for instance Toasty Digital's crazy alternate universe album, KANYE 2049, or his recent project blonda). Pretty interesting concept, crisp, relaxing sounds, and a gateway into an alternate reality in which this album happened. 10/10 fanmade album. Great job.
