I think you missed two very important men out there Phill, The first one is uncle Ian himself, I don’t think the 1200 would have been on the farm at all if it wasn’t for him, god rest his soul, the second very very important man was father Phill, without his knowledge the old girl may have looked nice but I doubt she would be running. Great video, I had a tear in my eye thinking how happy uncle Ian would have been seeing her roll out the workshop ❤❤❤

Crystal next. Like the yellow 1200, a well refurbished Crystal is rare. There’s plenty of rebuilt old Masseys about. Only downside is Father Phil's muscle memory and mind memory is all Massey. And I don’t know if there's a Crystal Chris or Zetor Zach around, like there was a Massey Dave for the 1200, to which you can fall back on.

Beautiful result, keeping her yellow was definitely the right decision. Well done to all involved, it was great to see everyone pulling together in the final phase, including the workshop banter 🙂. A very fitting tribute to your uncle 👌Kudos to the very talented Lee, Father Phil, and other contributors, but also to you and Liv, who's expertise in keeping the wheels turning on the farming and business side were also vital to the project.

What a fantastic effort by all involved, it really shows just how much this project meant to the entire family. Delighted for you all, an absolute gem of a restoration.

It looks stunning in yellow, I hope all the "haters" of the yellow colour choice have swallowed their own words by now. It came along nicely, and in the drone shots the colour really looked stunning :) Hats of to Lee, he's done a great job :) Hope to see the 590 restored next or the 2725 :)

a fantastic restoration , huge congratulations to all involved , i spoke to your father at the pumpkin picking last october and he asked me to restore the red 1200 for ye , the bar is set very high now and lee has definetly given me a run for my money , whatever tractor you decide to restore next it will definetly be done to a very high standadrd .

Id nearly say it'd be the perfect thing to gift to Lee afterwards. You've all achieved what you wanted up to now with it and what a great gesture it might be, Lee is a gem.

Lads fair play to yas that is some example of a 1200 and to be honest with you I didn't agree with the yellow paint at the start but looking at her now she's mint !!! ❤

I might be wrong but, I think there's an adjustment on the pump for the steering. MF's are strong tractors, one of the very few that's still going strong against the overly expensive JD's. Glad to see her running, sounds good. Turned into a very good restore project, looking forward to seeing more. Great video as always, cheers :)

When considering your next tractor, you need to get the 99 in for a quick tidy up and fix your aircon and the paint. Nice job on the 1200.

Great Job Guys, we always put a spare power steering pump & Hydraulic pump belt in place over the drive shaft. it made belt changes easy without having to remove the drive shaft / or move the Engine forward.
