Mezzo Soprano Vocal Warm Up - Suitable for Higher Alto Voices

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Donate via Paypal - tinyurl.com/DonateAVC
This is the Aussie Vocal Coach Mezzo Soprano Vocal Warm Up. The mezzo voice, also known as vocal fach, is the female voice type between Soprano and Contralto, or low alto. The mezzo vocal range is usually between F3 and G5 however some singers may be able to sing slightly lower or higher than this vocal range and sustain a higher or lower tessitura.
The 8 vocal warm up exercises in this routine will activate your diaphragm, connect your cords, warm up your singing resonance, chest voice, mixed voice and head voice range so that you can sing with confidence, tone quality and power through your mezzo soprano range.
Remember vocal warm ups are designed to stretch your voice so sing each vocal exercise gently and avoid pushing or straining your voice. if an exercise ever feels too high or low stop and move on.

These have been absolutely invaluable over the past 6 months...so grateful for Aussie Vocal Coach!! I jumped back into community theater doing 42nd Street after a 12 year break and these videos got my voice into great shape for auditions and the show. I'm an alto/mezzo range and started with the alto ones, but found the mezzo ones prepared my voice more for the higher songs. Over time my voice and range definitely got stronger...definitely appreciate warming up so many different areas of the voice. I'm so glad I had a bit of a drive to rehearsals so this could be part of my daily routine in the car. God bless you Ian thank you for your work!

Oh, I loved it, so refreshing when the vocalization has creative ways, I really enjoyed it, I will practice this every day with my other vocalization practices. Thank You, it was very fun to do it and a bit challenging to adapt to the new combination of sounds which makes a new step forward, and I know I need to practice more the ear to new combinations and finding my voice with them. So useful. EK

You have to do enough exercise to have your fluids under control and with daily vocalization, tea and water it will be solved, we all gather mucus in our systems when we sleep, so when you work out and practice enough your voice and breathing the mucus clears out.

I have difficulty with the #8 pharyngeal exercise. I think this is a weak area of mine. My middle voice is hard for me to use. I am often in my chest but can easily flip into head but have a hard time blending these two. It has been the bane of my existence! It is often limiting in the choice of my music. I work on this a lot by choosing songs that take me to the trouble spot but I never seem to get much better. Is there possibly a physiological reason this is difficult for me or do I just need to do some very specific work for this?
