We had such a great time exploring these regions! Our little tip: If you do decide to do the tour from San Cristobal to Palenque, we highly suggest booking accommodation in Palenque! Not only will this save you a good 6-hour drive back to San Cristobal but Palenque itself looked super cool! Llooked like a really great cafe/restaurant/bar scene :)
