I do. I gave up singing by going to a bad vocal coach/teacher she was just very stuck up, full of herself and never encouraged her students unless they were competing in state/regionals. I drove 2hrs one way every week since she was the closest voice teacher and as a young person seeing someone so unenthused but ready to take my money just turned me off. I really wonder if I could have gone somewhere even if it was gigs/community theater or maybe I was just bad and dreaming. I'll never know now I'm too old :)

i saw him sing at my highschool today it was so amazing. me and my friends couldn't wait for him to come out and when he did my friend screamed so loudly and when he sang MAMA we cried cause how beautiful his voice is. thank you mateo for coming to holmes high school and singing for us we won't forget your amazing performance and you are always welcome back.

I myself am in a mariachi band (I’m a young teen I play trumpet) and it’s amazing to see other kids who are younger taking pride in their culture :)
