It is brilliant composition: combining the obvious Cumbia element (afro-Colombian), a bit of Balkan flavor, and some riffs and styles 100% from the deep South of Italy, where she hails from (Region of Basilicata - SE of Naples). As of today after the first Preparty in Madrid, favorites ( odds mean nothing, since they are artificially adjusted by betting houses) are Switzerland, Italy, Croatia.. with a few other brilliant numbers literally breathing down their necks.

The meaning of the song is autobiographical, she says she carries her traumas with her (she lost her father when she was 13, he was a famous Italian singer who died of a heart attack in one of his concerts) the suffering makes you appreciate the joys more . You have to accept the ups and downs of life and you fight boredom as suffering by always remaining active, you have to use those moments in a positive way even just to reflect on your life and not remain passive to depress yourself, hence the cumbia dance of noia (boredom) it's like an invitation to a party to always look for something that makes us feel good.

Pues NO. Lo que significa es q tengo mejor oído que tú y más capacidad para juzgar lo que hace alguien que canta. Soy profesora de canto y cantante lírica y tengo alumnos de canto lírico y también moderno quienes en primeros cursos de iniciación darían lecciones a tu representante. La canción es fea. Y no la canta con talento. Hay ofertas mil veces mejores en ese festival este año. 😉.
