Will it ever change? The top man issues instructions and some of the rank and file continue to defy it. In many ways, this highlights the lack of discipline running through the entire force. Also, they, quite often, can't communicate in a civil manner with the public, calling people "mate" "buddy" etcetra. Rudeness and ignorance abounds. I'm in favour of showing repect, but a little lapel badge, without the Union Flag, bought ONLY through the charity, would suffice.

During recruitment, they will say all the right things to get into the force but once they’re in, it all changes. Arrogance, ignorance, narcissism, bullying and contempt for the public, it all comes to the surface.

I undersand they have an exemption, however in neight case was there a Policing reason for this (van driver wore his seatbelt, unmarked driver was not in a rush and only moved on when he realised his brain was underpowered). 16.30 he's using the "no pedestrian" access point. 19.45 wow, not wearing numbers is rather a large problem for the public, even if he was reasonable. Although he is spot on, I'm more concerned about the humber of sex offenders, robbers, rapists and murdered who have been employed by the Met as Police Officers. Ironic he spoke about parking fines whilst parked illegally. Angry grandad cop trying to dicate who does what...in a profession that uses CCTV all the time.

You only have to look at Each Forces Web Site the results of misconduct hearings public information. It is absolutely shocking the sheer scale of offending that Police Officers commit day in and day out. For law abiding citizens this is a worry.

All the football firms have always known the Police are the biggest firm of them all. Back in the day they, especially South Yorks Police, would be proper involved in any violence that broke out. We used to go away to Sheffield and you’d end up having issues with them as well as the OCS and the BBC firms.

I think @1:45 you confused "prescribed" (authorise the use of) with "proscribed" (ban the use of) . . . the officer says (about the thin blue line patch) "It's not proscribed" (meaning, it's not banned) and you agree with him, but he's lying or wrong, it was banned within the Met, by Sir Mark Rowley in July of this year.

Only one I thought was a good guy was the guy who chatted with you at the gate he was the best officer I ever saw …
