@@justsomeannoyingredpanda The trailer on Nintendo's official channel is listed as "Nintendo Switch" in the title, and says in the description it will be released on Switch in 2025, so I am hopeful. It may be cross platform though.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is hands down the greatest gaming experience of my life. I know ALOT of people come to your channel for Souls content, But tbh, I wouldn't have ever gotten into Souls without Metroid. The interconnected world, Amazing boss battles, Tremendous atmosphere, These are things Metroid perfected, After Prime 3, I spent years trying to find a game that could scratch that itch while waiting on Prime 4, And the Soulsborne series felt VERY familiar, Imagine Metroid world building plus KH Critical mode combat, That was essentially what Souls was to me, Which is why i adore these games so much, But make no mistake, As incredible as my experiences with games like Elden Ring or Bloodborne have been, The one thing they lack that continuously pulls me back into the world of Prime is the otherworldly OST. Prime is the only game to legitimately immerse me into it's world, I was Samus stepping into Talon IV, Looking around and just drowning in its atmosphere. I actually despise First Person games, And yet Metroid Prime remains favorite game ever. That feeling of awe you get when wondering into a new biome in Prime is totally unmatched, Even by the likes of Eldem Ring. I've been waiting 17 years for Prime 4, This is truly something i didn't know if I'd ever get to experience, Next year cannot come soon enough lol

They actually used the Halo 4 models or borrowed from them to speed up development from what I've read.

I can’t believe i was 11 years old when I first became a Sylux fan and am now seeing him take center stage 18 years later

I really like how they slimmed up the classic Prime suit a bit, I adored how natural and agile she felt in Dread

The great hollowing 2.0, can't wait

I almost cried at the end when the music hit

So regarding prime 2 it introduced dark samus and what she was up too, hunters introduce sylux, prime 3 ended with sylux following samus at the end, federation force ended with sylux getting those metroids.

This has to be a launch title for Switch 2. Also I’m surprised they didn’t mention anything about remastering Prime 2&3

right was really hoping for a prime 2 remaster before 4 it is a lot of peoples favorite game in the series and tbh 3 without motion control focus might be really good to!

@nhlcbj yeah, I did 3 on Wii many many years later and still don't know remember who that character was at the end of the trailer lol. I didn't like all those health zapping dark zones from 2. 1 was def. my all-time favorite of the trilogy. I loved how the ship you were on crashed into the water, and you got to visit it again later in the game. That was dope.

Prime 1 was peak. 2 was different, they took a risk. Still a great game. 3 was amazing but dear god Wii controls made me so annoyed. 4 looks like the proper game I've waited for since Prime 1, with no wonky control schemes.

This is EXACTLY how I felt when the Kingdom Hearts 3 release date was finally announced so I get where you're coming from 100%. This is a great video and i love your channel! Really excited to see more videos like this. Small piece of constructive criticism: I think it would be noticeably easier to watch if the volume levels were balanced in such a way that your voice was as loud or louder than the content behind it (we've likely all seen the footage and are more interested in what you have to say 😊)

The sound when samus gets out of her ship that Metroid chime from prime serious omg that took me wayyyyy back I was just a kid and I’m maybe more excited today then I would have been then lol.

What a direct. I don’t know what I expected the least: a new M&L even tho the studio went bankrupt, a Zelda game where you actually play as Zelda or Metroid Peak 4. Then SoftE coming out this week + the Look Back Movie coming out in 10 days. I don’t even know what to look forward to at this point because there are so many great things. Nah just kidding it’s Elden Ring.

I remember the first time I looked up on Tallon IV, the rain hitting my visor. This is everything my inner child could possibly want (that and a chao garden in Sonic X Shadow).

The one thing I've been wondering is the new suits we'll be getting. I hope the suits change your entire hud, different colors for the UI, different meters and such. Kinda like what the visors did in metroid prime 1.

I don't react that often, but I just needed to react to this. Prime 1/2 combined are probably my favourite game(s). Love your detailed video! At 05:36/37 in your video, when the full text of the (almost) dead space is readible, I personally loved to see those cool immersive descriptions being back. Loved the idea of being able to scan the world to learn more about the story. Dark Souls item descriptions always remind me of this feature in the Prime games!

Metroid Prime is my #2 game of all time right behind Zelda OoT/BotW. For those not in the know Elden Ring and many other games follow suit in creating an atmosphere where you get lost and are amazed and horrified by what you experience. There’s no hand holding you just unravel the mystery and get stronger. By the end you are the Hunter and instill fear in others. This is insane can’t wait to get this…on the Switch successor😉👌🏾🧡
