With the full approach including a child/deliveroo rider near collision, the mess where the half-of-baldwin street path abandons you, then over into the new bits, trying to guess which is bike, which is walk, because it all looks exactly the same

I ride North-South/South-North on the road and have seen all sorts of bad driving so far. On Day One a car turning right out of Baldwin Street, A Prius turning right into Badwin Street coming from the Cenotaph and two cars in convoy staying in the left hand lane coming from Rupert Street and turning onto Broad Quay by using the bus lane. Far too common are taxis turning left out of Baldwin Street then doing a u-turn outside the Hippodrome which is already narrower than planned cause the taxis are parking up outside the Hippodrome.
I am sure once it is all sorted, it all will be sorted. :')
Since trams came to Birmingham I hate them because the council has banned cycling in 80% of the city centre now! Its awful. When Christmas Market comes in the only roads open are A-roads shared with HGV's, buses, and it'll take 15 extra more minutes to cycle all the way around the city! Im not happy with Birmingham Council at all!
