Metro Waste Systems: Peterbilt 320 Dempster Route King II Rear Loader Garbage Truck!

Today I am proud to present a full video of one of the coolest and rarest trucks in Metro’s fleet, one of their two Ex Lexington, Kentucky Dempster Route Kings! I have been wanting to get a full video of one of these for quite some time so I was very excited when Adam and I stumbled across this one day! The helper has been featured on my channel before and he always enjoys being filmed. This truck had a super nice growl and blew a little bit of smoke which made this super cool. Considering this truck is around 20 years old it is only showing it’s age a little bit and still packs a punch. You can also see them dump a few bins from a company called Warrior disposal that recently went bankrupt but it is uncertain if they have bought them out. Metro has been growing a lot recently so expect some cool things from them later this year! Until then, enjoy one of Metro’s most badass units in action!

Very nice find! I spend quite a few years working behind a Dempster RKII and they pack a very good load.

Stumbled onto this video. I worked for Dempster 1994-1995 so this truck would have been built in the Toccoa GA Plant.

I used Dempster bodies when I was a kid. The RK2 was a great body. The recycling body was fantastic. Cheers from Vancouver BC Canada
Great video! Enjoyed this one. Really like that Metro runs a lot of older trucks and the helper was for sure cool to watch glad you were able to film him again. Awesome work!
