I remember this day at Coachella being so fucking hot! And they did so amazingly, I’m 36 yrs old and saw them at this show when I was 21

I'm a Canadian living in Holland, I have been to many kinds of concerts in Canads. Hell we even cheer for the Zamboni man at a hockey games. Soon I will experience my first in Holland and Germany. I hope the Dutch rock out more than the Americans. I'll be seeing Metric in July (Amsterdam!) and I'm rocking out no matter what! I will go a little crazy for this music live! I wish they were a part of the Sleigh Bells/Class Actress tour that's going on. That would make the show a perfect storm of female singers.

I always thought this sounds a bit stoner rock. Metric in general sounds like a female-lead QOTSA, not as heavy though.

It probably has something to do with the sound editing. I'm sure if you hear it live it's different. The sound tech/engineer probably didn't mix it properly for the video.

And yet I'm sure you have no problem with mugs that read "Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee", or aprons that read "I like cooking with wine. Occasionally I add food", because the people in power have acclimatised you into believing that all the drugs that they tax and legitimise and advertise to you, the coffee, the alcohol, the tobacco, the chocolate, the prescription opioids, the SSRIs, are all hunky dory because they've managed to extract the market out of them, but god forbid somebody drop some acid...
