Metra Rail Commuter Trains on the Race Track!! F40PH's and F40PHM's

Watch the morning rush hour train action on the BNSF Race Track at La Grange, IL. You will see plenty of action in both directions including 3 train meets! These trains are hauling thousands of commuters to downtown Chicago and there is no time to waste. The locomotive models seen in this mornings service are F40PH's and F40PHM's. Some of the trains have 2 locomotives paired together on the longer trains! These thunder wagons are always screaming but they sound even better when they are flying by!

I believe its a no horn zone. If i recall correctly I only saw 1 or 2 trains toot for entering a crossing just as another train was clearing it.

@@100m.p.h.They are only allowed to honk if another train is stopped next to them. It was a great but sad example why when Mary got hit.
