Method feeder fishing is a fantastic way of catching lots of carp. It can even be a match-winning tactic when you get it right, there are lots of tricks that can help you catch more fish. There is more to it than just loading a feeder and chucking it into a lake, many commercial fisheries will have features such as an island and open water to go at.
Adam shows you how to clip up to the island, the lines to fish and when to fish them. He talks through the best choices for bait and how best to load it on your method feeder as well as the right times and ways of feeding the peg, plus plenty of method feeder tips to help your fishing.
The venue we have chosen, Forest Lane Fisheries, is full of carp from 2lb right through to double figures. It has an island where you can catch plenty of smaller carp but catching in open water can really see you catch those bigger specimens and Adam talks you through the fishing tactics to do it.
