I am in recovery from drug addiction. The drug being discussed almost killed me. Recovery may take years and you may not get everything back. Paranoia feels very real. It’s the worst. It’s a great way to die of a heart attack or a brain hemorrhage. It’s really dangerous when people mix opioids with stimulants. Opioids are getting mixed in with stimulants more and more often. In the drug game, a dealer doesn’t care if you live or die. In fact, if they feel you have slighted or crossed them? They have no qualms about giving you garbage or lacing things to prove how powerful they are. True story. A commitment to physical fitness (began with just taking a walk everyday) and NA meetings saved my life. NA isn’t a perfect program but it does help with isolation. Isolation is what usually kills addicts. Hospitals, nurses, doctors, paramedics, EMT’s, etc do not like helping addicts that present for treatment…..even in a crisis. Again, true story…..been there more than once. This alone is a great reason to stay clean and sober. We do recover.

I live in independence missouri, it is a place saturated with this drug. I used it from age 13 to 16 with use escalating from once a month to 2-3 times weekly at the end. I managed to get clean eventually, there is no other drug like it (besides aderall which is practically identical). It is a rush you won't forget and the effects on ones life are apparent quickly. It is destructive beyond anything else ive ever encountered, don't ever try it. Amphetamines in general are bad news. It isn't super deadly but the effects on the brain and body are very present.

@@jaobyeden4143 it does enhance the worst in people. I have sleep narcolepsy so it helped me want to get things done. It didn't make me want to hurt anyone but I notice how fecking evil these people are. I'm glad you left it behind. It's so nice to have a sober mind although all these years later these same people still attack me in some way. I sure left an amazing amount of people behind when I got clean. They play God. I also thought it was funny when my son and I went to get his car inspected. The owner said meth heads take anything that sparkles. It doesn't have to be worth a thing. I live in a small town so people know who does and doesn't do meth or whatever. When some things were found stolen and dumped in the alley behind me the PD knew who it was simply by the rocks found. You can buy them at Wal-Mart lmao. To steal, cheat or lie hurts everyone. I remember thinking I would go party and have a good time. It's never a good time with these people. They will steal everything from you.. That saying about people stealing hope love and joy is quite true. Loud and obnoxious. Bullies and very bad people with no good intentions. Maybe at first this drug won't get you but if you keep doing it expect to lose everything including your mind. Love love love that you're clean! You've made the world a better place!

The effect is not rapid if taken by mouth. This doctor is biased. If taken orally effects can last an upwards of 10 hours

Can anyone tell me what it smells like when smoked, or inhaled via a bong. My neighbour is smoking something I've never smelt but it does make me dizzy and my heart rate increases. This happen during the whole night. I haven't slept for weeks and am amazed that he's awake for so long using.

@@Ketannabis thankyou. It's gotta be a stimulant. I sleep for less than two hours, then wake up inhaling it. My heart starts racing. I've even got a dizzy high when it's more intense. I'm thinking crack as this one is the only one that gives a passive high without smoking it. The vapour is like acid, stings the eyes, even. Like bicarb powder.

Meth is vaporized. Yes when exhaled the vapor can still be active but it is really difficult to get a contact high from it. Considering most of the meth is cut, its not very potent at all. When burnt meth has a sweet chemically smell to it.

This is my opinion. Adderall is very similar in effects. I was prescribed to adderall for years, had a very positive effect in low doses. I discontinued use following 3 years of black mold exposure as it seemed to exacerbate the symptoms, and because I believe 20mg was too high a dose, I should have stuck with 10mg. 7 years later, after a long run of healthy eating (only thing that seemed to help, doctors only knew how to prescribe steroids and antibiotics) and finally symptom free, I'm considering attempting to restart my prescription at the 10mg dose. The issue with most drugs is, like you said, is the personality type and the dosing. Having tried speed myself, I'll say it would almost be impossible to dose with reasonable efficacy, the effects are too long-term and a single line is essentially an overdose. Like everything, the difference between medicine and poison is the dose.

I just started taking Adderall. I genuinely have ADD and my thoughts are scattered without it , but when I take it I am able to focus and concentrate. What are the downsides ? I am hearing the euphoria effects wear off and you can get to a point where your body can't produce dopamine on its own, is this true ?

You should give your receptors some off time. Try not to use adderall every single day or take a few days off at a time every week and you should be fine as long as you do not alter your usual dosage

@@NK-iw6rq I just said do not take it every single day. Put gaps in between your class schedule. Adderal is supposed to aid in new neural pathways not crutch you to them. Let your body adjust every now and then. Focus on diet and exercise and listen to your body first brother. Meth (or adderal) can either be your best friend or your worst enemy.

yeah because I'm ADHD and meth is really really effective for me because I also have binge eating and im over weight. I don't smoke it , just snort 5-15mg 1-2 a day and never on weekends, everything gotten better with my functioning.

I think hallucinations are caused due to deprivement of sleep are they not? how long is it possible to stay awake on meth anyway?

I've gone 7 days with no sleep, but the longest binge I've ever been on was 11 days. On that binge I didn't "sleep" per say but there were times when it was like my brain would just shut off for a second or two, nodding if you will. In order to go long durations like that I maintained a heavy vitamin regiment. Daily multivitamin, vitamin d, c, niacin, l-lysene, potassium, magnesium, and sometimes flax seed oil. I also made sure to eat a regular meal at least twice a day. Wouldn't recommend it. Never lost my teeth but they would get loose after a binge, coming down was pure misery, and let me tell you shadow people are pretty freaky.

Heard of people going on (tweaking) for about 20 days or so. Personally (I used to smoke for a few months and stopped for a couple of years, now I snort it once in a while), I eat properly, do my usual daily routine and sleep every day just fine. That includes the time I smoked it... I kind of micro dosed though, like a $10 amount would last me more than a week when I smoked almost every day. It just depends on personality and to some degree will power.

I'm been using a few years, im not a heavy user once every 2 weeks about 2 points but as time goes on I'm yearning it more.... I just use it to help study but its starting to take hold...... i have not experienced any real negative effects apart from wanting more and a bit sluggish the day after, but I'd hate to think what its probably doing to me.... I'm an idiot I suffer from heart condition but I do want to stop before I do real damage

You sir probably have undermethylation issues. Try taking methylfolate as metafolin or other derivatives and methylcobalamin. Which is basically b9 and b12 vitamins. Also incorporate the other b vitamins. Also take niacin as nicotinic acid which is b3 50mg in case your methylation goes too high to bring it back down as niacin removes excess methyl from blood (when you start experiencing anxiety). I know this must all be confusing but look into it and shortly you will realise you most likely have undermethylation issues. 22% of the population has it. 8% has overmethylation which is what I have and right now I am dealing with extremely elevated serotonin and dopamine levels to the point where I can't even drink coffee because I get serotonin syndrome. Look up methylation man. Get your bloods done. Although it's not always accurate. And most importantly. Don't give up. Buy the book called Nutrient Power by Walsh Institute as well.

It was relatively recently found to come from a very obscure African mimosa tree (edit: not mimosa. It’s acacia rigidula and berlandieri) in such small amounts that you'd have to cut down an entire forest to get a single dose. The tree is so uncommon that you'd never find a forest of them in the first place. So technically it comes from nature. But I would be shocked if a single person in America has ever consumed it from a natural source. It's that rare in nature.

Ok so I'll be the guy who keeps it 💯 here. Meth doesn't directly come from a plant (other than the plant mentioned I've never heard of a natural source) that being said there are several plants that contain ephedrine, psudoephedrine, and norephedrine which is the main precursor in methamphetamine production. I will not disclose which plants they are, how to extract the precursors or how to reduce said precursors into meth but anyone with a working understanding of botony and organic chemistry could produce it without significant difficulty It's a sad thing really as it's one of the most destructive drugs both physically and psychologicaly and for over 100 years has left a trail of death and destruction in its wake.
