Wow what a amazing interview! Topher you did such a wonderful job! Geoff, my kid guessed correctly the truth and the lie. You are so genuine with your life mission! I suppose this may have been the giveaway with Vincent's assessment. THANKS - we had a great conversation. It was actually our first ever. It is nice to re-watch the few MM episodes that exist. But, remember to come back here for current content. (wink)

I have to take back all of my meteor wrongs too! My wife would swear I am the only " Rock" hoarder that keeps the "trash". We live on a 300 acre farm that her grandad farmed years back(one of few farm fields in the hills of WV and if my noobular self isn't wrong, we live in a strewn field) and I constantly find old farming/tractor parts. I also find many native American(Cherokee) artifacts. I could almost swear that my wife pays youtubers to post meteor wrongs more than meteror rights, so that she can say that the samples of rocks I have laying around the house, can be tossed out in the creek. It is refreshing to hear others, especially those with much more knowledge than I, talk about how they are excited, content, and happy to just be outside with a metal detector. My favorite is that and or going out at night with my 2 hunting buddies(my doggies) at night and hunt in the creeks with lights.

Geoff Notkin!!! Wow what an awesome surprise. Geoff is a genuine guy and so passionate about space and meteorites. I totally get what Geoff means when he talks about the zone. That's the moment where you are in the field, the wilderness just being in that moment. Nothing around you and its just you or you and a friend, it's almost spiritual in a way. I guess this is the only way it can be really explained. It is so good for the soul to be free from everything else.

I didn't catch the answer to two truths and a lie. So at first I thought, there is no way he has crossed 6 times. Then I though, well maybe, there are a lot of meteorites up there. So, he's never been accidentally shot at? But thats actually possible also.... Okay, the one thing I do know is that the first statement is true.

I didn't see the truth revealed, if i were to guess I would say the lie was being shot at by a aircraft, as they only do live firing on ranges and you just cant be on a range if live firing is taking place, but if I am right, I would love to know the story about being a Garbage pail kid!
