Bilkent Üniversitesi ve Bilkent Holding’e bağlı olarak 2006 yılında kurulan Meteksan Savunma Sanayii A.Ş.’de, Bilkent Cyberpark tesislerinde oluşturduğumuz ileri teknoloji altyapı ve 150 kişilik uzman kadromuzun bilgi birikimi ile müşterilerimizin ürün ve sistem ihtiyaçlarını karşılayacak yaratıcı çözümleri milli olarak üretebilmek ve bugüne kadar savunma sanayii alanında odaklanılmamış projeleri gerçekleştirebilmek amacıyla çalışmalarımızı sürdürmekteyiz.
Faaliyetlerimize Elektronik Alt Sistemler, Sualtı Akustik Sistemler ve Yazılım, Bilgi Teknolojileri ve Simülasyon alanlarında odaklanmış bulunuyoruz. Bu kapsamda radar sistemleri, lazer sistemleri, üçüncü nesil veri aktarma (data link) sistemleri, sonar tasarım ve üretimi, su altı haberleşme ve uyarı sistemleri, elektronik harp sistemleri konularında ileri teknoloji çözümleri milli imkanlarla geliştiriyoruz. Ayrıca, yazılım, bilgi sistemleri ve simülasyon alanını stratejik bir iş olarak yürütüyor ve bu alanda sürdürülebilir geniş kapsamlı bir altyapıyı oluşturmayı hedefliyoruz. Bu altyapı, bilgi birikimi ve insan kaynakları ile Şirketimiz, söz konusu alanlarda sistem ve alt sistem bazında donanım/yazılım tasarımı, geliştirme, üretim ve test kabiliyetlerine sahiptir.
Meteksan Defence Industries, Inc. is a subsidiary of Bilkent Holding and Bilkent University of Ankara, Turkey. Under these areas Meteksan Defence operates especially on radar systems, laser systems, data link systems, sonar systems design and production, underwater communication and warning systems, electronic warfare systems, modelling, simulation and analysis technologies and training simulators.
