Metek Sound System is much more than a simple collective of musicians, it is a Tribe which has traveled France, Europe and North America for fifteen years to discover its music and spread the ideologies of the inspired underground movement. notably by the famous "Spiral Tribe".
Metek has been behind the organization of more than a hundred events bringing together 500 to 50,000 people: free parties, teknival and other urban events...
Always active, the crew has been able to weave a network of contacts across Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Canada and the USA.
Based on this spirit, their label "Metek Records" and production structure "Metek Production" are independent and distribute his works mainly in the so-called "Underground" circles in the form of 33 rpm LPs in particular.
Faithful to an old school tekno style, Metek offers through their albums a palette of different musical styles that have punctuated their journey: breakbeat, minimal techno, progressive techno, Tribe (tekno), hardtek, Techno hardcore, acidcore, and electro.
These founding members, DJ's and composers, perform regularly in Europe: Qix, Nash, Ben, Tor, Zayonne and Zool.
