Toki's entire character and Pickles backstory is too relatable.

I think that quote from Pickles’ dad is the heaviest, most fucked up backstory in the show because I could totally see that shit happening in real life. Like the pure and utter resentment of a bad father disappointed in a burnout son he never saw the potential in.

Y'know I just realized Pickles is the closest to actually being middle aged out of the whole band, definetely the oldest member. Like the guy burnt though ALL of the 80's and has been in probably a fuckload of other bands in between Dethklok during the 90's. All in L.A. Guy's seen shit.

Well his family blamed him for the burning of the garage, which is brother did, that's why he went to rehab. I don't think it was his father hating a burnout son, but still being resentful for his brother's actions.

But yeah his father calling him garbage is low insult but sorta also semi showed how he didn't care enough to actually put the energy into a good insult. So the generic you belong in a garbage can really hit 2X as hard. Bonus pts though for pickles telling his mom to go F*guitar riff*k herself in that one episode.

6:40 - Nathan having a wholesome relationship with his father is one of my top three moments of this entire series 🤣

Edit: what Metalocalype did right was it being something made for the fans, by the fans. Brendon Small was and still is a metalhead and knows the community. This wasn't a kiss to the metal genres and community this was an entire foursome
