If you listen to the second one,it’s neither can’t forgive you or can I forgive you,she isn’t unforgiven to him, she’s unforgiven to the rest of the world same as him, they are the same so it’s you are also unforgiven to the world "i take this key and i bury it in you, because youre unforgiven too” its the key to his heart because she understands him

Metallica will always hold a special place in my heart. My first husband (who passed away) introduced me to Metallica, and was a super fan since high school. Before he passed he gave our son his electric guitar from high school and bought him his own. My son is about to be 20 years old, and carries on his dad’s love for Metallica. Brings me to tears seeing you enjoy how awesome they are. GOD Bless!!

Unforgiven 1: a damn classic, beautiful and powerful metal ballad with a great guitar solo full of passion. Unforgiven 2. a simple slow tempo ballad with a short yet cool solo. Unforgiven 3 : the most complex one, dark with and with a kick @ss in your face solo. Epic stuff.

  • @mrdfk9410

I think they're all great. 1 & 2 use the same chords, with a different feel and a variation on the theme. 1 has a loud verse, quiet chorus, 2 is quiet verse, loud chorus. 3 has completely different chords but shares the loud verse, quiet chorus of 1. All the solos are great for different reasons too. 1 is well measured and thought that peaks nicely with the song itself. 2, is a lot simpler but is full of more raw passion. 3 is just nuts, combining the passion of 2 with a similar to peak as 1. They're great songs and considering what the band and Hetfield in particular have been through, even more touching.

The Unforgiven trilogy is a travel inside the soul and demons of James. Can't understand why so many "trve fans" hate these songs... they don't understand the deep meaning of these songs, and probably the pain and the suffering of James writing down these lyrics? Metallica is not only "seek, destroy, battery, damage"... is also this... they started with Fade to Black to going down in the darkness of the spirit, and never ended. Unforgiven III is a scream in the night. Best lyrics ever.

James has written several pieces of music directed at his tumultious upbringing. Songs like Mama Said, Until It Sleeps and Dyer's Eve are great windows into his past and into his head and ultimately into our soles. Beautiful music can come from anywhere.

To me, Unforgiven is the 3rd best song Metallica ever wrote, behind MoP and One. I've seen it live and cried both times, and I get emotional everytime I hear it. Metallica will never please everyone, but they deserve respect for not fooling their fans, they always put out something they believe in, even if it gets backlash or not, if it means more bluesy music or a collab with Lou Reed. They will always be my favorite band

I went from a FANATIC of all things RAP when until I was about 14 and my sisters bf taught me how to play some songs on a shitty acoustic guitar. Well I ended up slipping master of puppets in, on welcome home sanatarium, and when I heard that for the first time it was MAGIC, I literally never listened to rap again (aside from some of my old faves for nostalgia reasons) and started my guitar journey for LIFE. Amazing feelings and I would also live to hear Pantera Cemetery Gates again for the first time. Especially having all the memories we have NOW, and emotions, along with how much we have matured through the years. I think between the memories in between, the nostalgia, and the pure metal genius of that song, we would all be on our knees crying, knowing dimebag had left.

As well As the tunes being amazing what’s really great is their impact. As you’re watching we can see the full range of emotions that you go through as it all hits you and I’m pretty sure you were almost crying in part one. For me there is something very relatable in the tracks so I get the feels on a very strong level and it was awesome to see that happen to someone else. Keep up the great content.

it’s nice to see someone experiance these for the first time and to see the emotion in your eyes, a lot of people are turned off by the brashness of metal but they really need to take the time to look at the lyrics and find the meaning. great video dude you earned a sub for sure

Man, I've been waiting for someone to put these three songs together and do a reaction/review for a while, thanks very much for doing this! Quite entertaining! Next, if you haven't done it yet (and I'll be scouring your page shortly) is Spit Out The Bone, preferably live... and 1991's Creeping Death in Moscow, which officially is considered the 5th biggest concert of all time, with official estimates being over 1.6 million people in attendance... bands in attendance, and concert-goers all believe that it was at least double... the video is WILD... a literal sea of people. Biggest concert of all time, oddly enough, is Rod Stewart at about 3.5 million people.

With both parents dipping on me before even turning 18 I can ever so much say these songs are beautiful despite production and genre. Lyrically they’re all a bitter-sweet emotional expression. Metallica fan for life. P.S if you want more Metallica take a listen to some of these underrated songs: (and ANY song of of their first five albums) - The Outlaw Torn - My Friend of Misery - Disposable Heroes - Trapped Under Ice - No Remorse

The Unforgiven III is far from their best song but the lyrics are incredibly deep. Especially the chorus "How can I be lost when I've got nowhere to go Search for seas of gold How come its got so cold How can I be lost, in remembrance I relive And how can I blame you when its me I cant forgive" That's deep.

I can't possibly say that ride and mop aren't by far their best stuff in my opinion, but it really is no wonder they are the most successful metal band ever is it... Their talents span genres and kick f'in ass.

Disturbed and metallica are the best. I know way too many people who have not actually listened to disturbed from album one to present, and if you do I guarantee if you ACTUALLY pay attention and LISTEN you'll be hooked for life. Such an AMAZING band, DAMN underrated. They should have a legacy the same size or even bigger than metallica at this point, both have created the worlds greatest tunes, Dave's voice is phenomenal.

Thank you for listening to all 3. Most people react to 1 and are blown away and they get all pumped up then they react to 2 and at first it seems like it's going good but that's just the rush leftover from the 1st one and by the time 2 ends the excitement is gone and they never get to 3 and in my opinion 3 is their redemption song and ironically on the same album 3 is on they have a song called "Suicide and Redemption" which is an instrumental that almost tells the story of how midway in their career they almost committed career suicide but they were able to turn it around and be redeemed.
