@@ily0482 dude... I don't remember the exact video, I saw that stuff when I was a kid. But anyway as for WHY??? I dunno, just typical underground vs. mainstream crap that still happens today. People sometimes talk sh*t about their competition. In the 80's Metallica built up their underground fan base, managed to get an opening slot for an Ozzy tour, etc. During this time, the metal underground and the glam rockers were not really on good terms. Not to mention the HC/PUNK underground as well. It was common for pretty much anyone involved with extreme forms of metal or punk to bash the glam bands. They were an easy target.

Huge respect. Such a legend plays Europe. 💚

This just demonstrates everything that Metallica do wrong. It’s not rob and Kirk, it’s James and Lars saying ‘oh you’re on your own, I’m not doing that..’. They could’ve spent half an hour rehearsing and polishing this and smashed it. But they didn’t.

Kirk Hammett has always been a mediocre guitarist...he would be playing small bars, and clubs if he wasn't in Metallica. Metallica belongs to James, and Lars...they keep the Metallica going, not Kirk.

What actually happened to Europe? I can still remember having getting and playing their vinyl single of this song in the 80’s. Must still be around here somewhere.
