It's a good idea in theory, but it waters down the original intent. Ride the Lightning is supposed to sound like Ride the Lighting. Load is supposed to sound like Load. If the band themselves start mimicking mixes it starts to lose its individuality. That's what makes creators like SOM so unique and have a brand too, so he'd kinda be out of a job. And none of us want that.
