With their pace of album-making over the past twenty years, and given that they’re all now 60, I don’t think we’ll see another new album. 72 Seasons, I think, is their swan song. It’s been a hell of a run!

Exactly. Some Kind of Monster and St Anger NEEDED to happen. Or there would be NO metallica and they wouldnt be the down to earth band they are today. It's very simple. NO St Anger = No Death Magnetic. No Hardwired to Self Destruct and NO 72 seasons ( their best album since 1991 hands down ).

James smokes cigars, you do not inhale cigar smoke down into your lungs like you do with cigarettes. So he will not be tearing up his lungs or his throat, if you were worried about damage to his voice or ability to hold a note without loosing breath. When it comes to cigars, you simply draw the smoke into your mouth, savor the flavor, then exhale the smoke from your mouth, or thru your nose in what is called a "retrohale". Never doese the smoke go down into the lungs. James will be fine! Cigar smoke is safer than vaping, safer than cigarettes, and safer than chewing tobacco. If you had to pick a poison, let it be cigars.
