It's certainly the creative highpoint of Metallica's career and personally the musical direction I wish they had continued with, I would like to think that their collective writing abilities wouldn't have diminished quite so much if they hadn't gone for a more radio friendly/pop mindset from after this album.

I knew I wasn’t the only one. For as great as Lightning and Puppets are, Justice was the first album I heard that felt authentically “angry”. To a 12 year old kid, it was a game changer. That the songs on Justice are the most progressive that the band ever wrote make it an album that 45 year old me can still revisit and appreciate in ways I didn’t have the capacity to in 1989.

I’m kind of ashamed to admit this but ever sense I was like 8 I’ve always loved Grunge and Nu Metal. I think this is a close second to my favorite album of all time, which is Slipknot’s self titled. Some other of my favorite albums include Alice In Chains-Dirt, Deftones-White Pony, System Of A Down-Hypnotize, and Nirvana-In Utero. You know what's funny? You didn't even mention the lyrics of the songs like at all. And i gotta say... none of this song even convinced me to even download one of them, they were just... the same thing as the older albums, nothing really changed (beside the awful drums)
