Yep it sounds perfect in this mix. The guitars are supposed to be overbearing and scooped and clinical sounding, it's part of the album sound. But having that little bit of bass ties it all together especially for the clean section. It's just in the background and the guitars still have good bass to them.

Talk about a damn throwback for real. Always had to make sure you had the money to buy new ones or have some extra ones handy in the event.

James here sounds as if he smoked two packs a day and were seriously overweight at the time of the recording. That bridge which leads to the double bass parts and stuff sounds absolutely epic.

I've always loved it way better than C standard! C# feels like it has more bite than C standard. I use 08-38 strings on my SG tuned to C#, it's my favourite guitar to play!

It's a version of One for my vocal range! Yay! It sounds like when I'm too lazy (or when my strings are too old) to keep tuning up and down, so I just keep playing songs at whatever lower tuning I'm already in... That happens more than I want to admit 😆

Man, thats cool. Theres a couple spots where i think it must've been harder to work with (like the lighter bit at 1:24 and 2:14ish ) , but it sounds so damn good. some bits are so perfect. Especially once it picks up, that's perfect right there.

This is the way I play it lol, all my guitar are in C tuning, it's so metal!

it's crazy how much memory can do to a song, i had the volume low so i couldn't make out the notes and i swear it sounded just like the original until i turned it up.

It sounds like when I manually lower the speed on my record player. I sometimes do that to make albums sound more sludgy.

This tuning gives the song even more sadness than it has originaly. Pretty cool
