Hate on Metallica all you want. Death Magnetic and Hardwired...To Self Destruct are some of my favourite albums of all time. Hell, I even like St. Anger and some of Load and Reload. I apreciate all of Metallica, and I always will. There is a reason that these four gentlemen are the most famous metal band ever. Long live Metallica!

What I love most about this video is that it's so serious and dark at first, but towards the end they sort of break character and just smile like they are having the time of their lifes, James is jumping with the crowd, smiling and Kirk is just on fire having a blast. Stuff like that just makes you love the band even more!

Doesn't mean you can put mediocre out there, time to start speaking with our wallets. Metallica had a ride with the Black Album and all that came before, many speculate Cliff Burton had a lot to do with Kill Em All- Justice for all which shaped Metallica's classic sound , then Bob Rock kicked their ass's for the Black Album to get that iconic sound, we are never getting that geni back in the bottle. Now since Cliff is gone , Bob Rock and even Jason Newsted to a lesser degree ..what's the anchor holding Metallica to the standards fans have come to except ?

This song is literally saving my life right now. I'm an alcoholic, and it's been pretty bad these past couple of years. I've lost two jobs because of it, and was on the way to losing a third. My father was a raging alcoholic and a blues musician. So I get both my love of alcohol and music from him. I say "was" because he passed in 2011 when I was 26, and that's when I got really bad. When I heard this song I cried hardcore for at least an hour, something I haven't done since he passed, and let out pressure that I didn't even realize I had built up in me. Knowing James is also an alcoholic, him singing these lyrics hit me hard. When I was done I had a another rage in me. But now it's a raging desire to stay clean and sober from the demon drink that has plagued me for too long. My father will be my Halo on Fire. Hello darkness, say goodbye. Long live Metallica!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘

This is one of the most beautiful songs they've ever written. It's like they took Fade to Black, My Friend of Misery, Bleeding Me, Outlaw Torn, and threw them all in a blender. I really hope this becomes a live staple on their tour, I can imagine a crowd of 75000 screaming along to every word and melody in this song.

I actually caught James drumstick at the Birmingham, AL concert. Now when my dad heard that Metallica was coming. He wanted to see them but didn’t have the money. Last time he saw them was 20+ years ago when he was in his early twenties. So one of my relatives gave us the tickets (ground level). So my dad was jumpin for joy because he could get to see them again. Once we got there in one of the songs I disappear for like two mins from my dad. When James threw his drumstick. someone caught it but it was knocked out of their hand and it landed on my feet and I dove in and fought 15 people for it. I came back to my dad. Now my father is a die hard fan of Metallica. But when I came back with the drumstick. My dads jaw dropped on the ground and he was so damn happy. He never knew that would happen to us. I can still see the expression that he had on that day as if it were yesterday.
