I used to listen to both sides of Master of puppets cassette over and over every day when I would come home from school in 1987 in the 5th grade...Once in a while I would drift off into a half-sleep/ trance state halfway thru side 2 (Leper Messiah/Orion) and I would always wake up startled and jolted at 1:18

Lol i fall asleep to my playlist sometimes and it ranges from classical to brutal death metal and everything in between

3:12 this breakdown is one of the best parts of the song, but Metallica never plays it in their live shows. Pisses me off. Great execution of the song by the boys. Keep doing these videos, they're awesome to listen to.

Jamie it’s probably bc it’s hard to play. Personally, I’ve been playing guitar for about 3.5 years now, and I find that rhythm pattern of the open E to the accents on the A to be a bit tricky. But then again, I am not very good at guitar😂

@@armandotorres8885 it's not hard to play, I mean that in as little of a cocky tone as possible, it's mainly right arm speed so if you can play songs like blackened or creeping death, it's pretty east

@@armandotorres8885 oh I see wym. Not sure if this is what you mean but I did struggle a lot with the 2 16th note 7th fret A string notes that come right after the 2 palm muted Es, I just couldn't get the second one and get back to E string but I've got it down pretty easy now

This brings back many memories from back in the day when I had this drummer friend and we would jam all Sunday long playing covers.

This song is the hub, the core, the epicentre, the jewel in the crown, of pure thrash metal. Outstanding cover!

This video sucks. Why does it suck? It sucks for me because as a former drummer thinking about one day getting back into it, after seeing videos like this I realize even after drumming for many years I never came close to being this good and frankly I don't think I could ever. Both of these guys must spend hours practicing every day or did for a very long time because they are both shredders. Awesome. Hats off to the Met boyz also for writing this music. Awesome!!!!
