    Best Metallica song ever. Best metal song ever. This is a timeless masterpiece. When i read a title of a video i just went fucking crazy. And they performed it flawlessly, just like in 1989. I couldn't have more respect for the 52-53 age guys who are still killing complex, intricate, and pain-indulging songs like this. And vocals and riffing are just beyond normal for that age... unless you're James Hetfield...

    pfff Metallica hasn't made a decent trash album since forever .....kill, master and ride are quality...... but from justice onwards you can not call it trash anymore. but that is probably because the first three were heavily influenced by Dave mustaine riffs. Mixed Mask , Yeah...Lars in a genie? Did he grant you 3 wishes? One of my wishes would be for him to at least learn how to play mediocre drums again like he used to. Now he just flat out SUCKS on the kit. It's a shame because he had at least played sufficiently on four of thrash metal's most legendary albums. Now he can barely play those. I wouldn't even complain about his weak drumming if he didn't run his mouth so hard and ruin Metallica's rep through the years! Also he just cannot be forgiven for cheating Jason out of his bass tracks for ...And Justice for All! That album would've been perfect otherwise!

  • @michaelshields9087

    @michaelshields9087

    monokhem , I couldn't come CLOSE to playing ANYTHING that Lars plays on the drums with Metallica. Never said that I could. Like I said, if he didn't seem to almost try like he's sabotaging his band verbally I wouldn't be sitting here bashing him on KZread. He might want to at least brush up what little skills he does possess in order to keep up with his phenomenal bandmates. He's clearly the weakest link with the biggest mouth in the band and he's lucky he's close friends with James or I'm sure they would have replaced him with a much better and more proficient drummer for their music. Do YOU REALLY think that Lars is the man for this band? Serious question, man.

    You might detect that the band seems a bit distracted on stage, which resulted in james messing up the lyrics during the second verse. I suspect it might have to do with them not hearing what they play. Sometimes things of that nature happens to the artist, as they perform. I've been on stage performing to a Metallica-song that played in the background, as I played guitar to it. I couldn't hear here I was in the song and therefor the timing was awful. Could be the same thing. So don't be so hard on Metallica.

  • @MrMetallidude

    @MrMetallidude

    7 жыл бұрын

    Precisely. And sorry for the embarrassing typos in my original comment. I just discovered 'em. Metallica are professionals and the show must go on. It's easy to critique a performance when things go wrong, but sometimes people tend to overlook simple explanations and more or less bash the artist. Not that this has anything to do with said subject, but pardon if my grammar might be off. English is not my first language. I'm swedish. I hope I'm not butchering your language.

  • @lordreehaw1267

    @lordreehaw1267

    6 жыл бұрын

    Yeah, with how much these guys tour there will be countless examples of 'automatic mode', and you cant blame them really. Most if not all mistakes they make are small and the show won't stop. Whenever they make a somewhat more serious mistake like accidentally messing up the intro of a song in the first 10 seconds, they'll joke around with it and no one has hard feelings.
