I never learned this one back in the day. I think I liked played the solos more that that relentless chugging. The timing was odd so I threw it in the too hard basket. I don't have any Met tab books anymore but this kind of instruction visual video superseeds those $60 tab books.

I just listen to the tracks, and my favorite ones is THE INCANTATION. I will see later but this one is pretty interesting, High Plains Drifter is cool too with nice guitar parts as well.

Are you switching between index finger and middle to hold the pick on the gallop? Is that reccomended?

What did you use for the reverb/echo for the solo? What are general settings. With the wah, its a little hard to figure out how it sounds

No reverb, just delay to add some "air" - This solo is pretty animal , that's why (in my opinion) it cannot be "clear" and the wha add this feeling to it, i personally really like it.

This is not lead tone, just regular tone, but this a 3 parts harmony guitars. What you like is not the sound of the guitar i think, this is the mix of these 3 guitars + riff behind. And it just killer part for sure !!!

Your left hand is too near the neck pickup during gallops. Put it more to bridge and your rhythm section will be much tighter. The solos are cool

Your Cover Lessons are extremely valuable and professionally made but there's one correction I have to make: In the galloping Riff there is supposed to be a D# in measure 2 of that riff (75 75 64 75). You can see that when Kirk plays it in his Lesson video on KZread.

You're right and wrong. Right cause Kirk play in this video you speak how they play the riff live. But in the studio, James recorded as i play in the video. The album version as many variations (that i try to put in the video). Generally, I put some notations when i play some live variations they do to make things little bit more clear. If you're a beginner, Metallica it's not easy at all for sure, but practice slowly and be careful to your rhythm, your pulse, and the way you move your finger on the neck, so watch carefully the video, more than the TAB ... but with time you will do it !
