The song is about a civilization that returns to its primitive state due to the excessive use of technology. The more complex parts are the references to "additional shocks", which are part of the philosophy of Georges Ivanovič Gurdjieff, a multifaceted Armenian thinker. They can be defined as efforts not to give in to the inertia and laziness that characterize some phases of life. And the Kundalini is a kind of superior, divine energy that he evokes and invites to awaken because it is an element that in the Tantric tradition is believed to reside in every individual, even if in some ways "asleep" or in any case. I don't know how to explain it better because they are certainly not topics in which I am expert.

It's also about the abuse of psychotropic substances without awareness. It shows how it's an illusion and your energies get sucked up by entities of the low astral realms. I'm an expert on Esotericism, but I study it in Italian and Latin. Not sure if I would be able to explain it better at English...

4:49 "Never thought Battiato and gothic would be in the same sentence" Battiato has always been a darling of Italian goths and alternative types in general (including Morgan from BluVertigo, who played bass on this track). But hey, at this point you might as well react to the song he did with Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil 😉

Maestro Franco Battiato is not here with us now, but in some other dimension or reincarnated in someone/something as he belived I think. I'm proud to be Sicilian like Him, and that people abroad are able to understand His genius. So many in Italy were inspired by Him. Ciao Franco ❤️

The people in the videos are supposed to be previous reincarnation of the singer. He believed in reincarnation and this video alludes to that.
