Dreamcatcher is actually from a very small company. They’re a very underrated group. Blackpink comes from one of the biggest companies in kpop and are one of the biggest groups. Saying Dreamcatcher dance harder/more intricate than Blackpink is true! They dance harder than most girl groups.

Lucky Strike, a cover of Maroon 5's song. It's heavier than original

Loads of their stuff are like that. They are like a pop rock group, which isn't that common at all (anymore) in SK, it's more common with Japanese bands/groups, so I like it a lot Ahaha. It's well known Asian bands/groups like to combine the cutesy stuff with rock, as seen with babymetal. Good Night by Dreamcatcher reminds me of Evanescence however.

I think us kpop fans definitely get a kick out of rock/metal lovers being surprised and enjoying Dreamcatcher lol. If you guys do watch their other music videos, I definitely recommend watching them in order as the trilogy tells a story! In order: 1. Chase Me (their debut song) 2. Good Night 3. Fly High They also do a few covers to rearranged pop songs such as 'Havana', 'Faded', 'Treasure', and 'Lucky Strike'. Not to mention they also perform their songs live if you'd like to check out their vocal capabilities! Enjoyed the video :).

Definitely check out Chase Me and Good Night. Dreamcatcher is a really underrated group in S.Korea, but actually quite popular in many oversea countries. There really isn't any other kpop girl group like them that focuses on rock and metal style of music.

They used to be a really poppy girlgroup called MINX, but didn't succeed and went on hiatus for almost 2 years. I’m so glad I found this,, I love rock and I love kpop so Dreamcatcher was like the lovechild of my favorite genres of music. super unique amongst other kpop groups. the intricacy of the instrumental work is reminiscent of older jpop, too, like you guys mentioned later in the video

Yes react to more dreamcatcher plz. Their earlier songs had more rock elements in it. The songs Chase me and Good night are worth watching. Also check out their dance practice for the songs as well and you can really understand how much is put into their performances. I love the dance "Practice" for their song Fly High.

You guys should check out Marmello. Nobody really talks about them but they’re an all female K-rock band and they’re extremely underrated. Their instrumentals aren’t heavy like Dreamcatcher’s but they play their own instruments. Can’t Stop is my favorite song by them. I used to be a strict metalhead before I got into kpop 5 years ago.

You need to watch Fly High to understand the full storyline, it is a prequel to Chase Me (and Good Night).

I've been following Dreamcatcher since they came on the scene. Very talented group of girls with great voices. The hard edge sound is unlike most other girl groups. They get good material and I have all their recorded work. The hard edge sound complements the dark themes of their songs. I haven't heard a bad song from them yet. This is their current song on the chart and it's a hit. If they were to sing in English, I'm sure they'd be a big hit in the U.S. and England. Dreamcatcher rocks.

You guys have done not one but THREE Dreamcatcher reactions and I've only just found out today? Looks like I've got some catching up to do. Also, any video where I can hear people listen to K-Pop and talk about Marty Friedman is fantastic.

there's a show on netflix called explained and they did an episode explaining how the kpop industry works, it's very interesting

you should react to good night, chase me and full moon! (fly high is also really good but it's a bit more on the lighter side). also while it's a b-side track and doesn't have a music video, i highly recommend their song called 'wake up' too! it's one of my personal favorites and easily one of their best songs in my opinion. if you're interested in more groups, day6 and the rose are two korean rock bands that you might like.

actually watching this dance live is so cool

I recommend Chase Me & Good Night which goes more into the rock aspects than You & I since this one is meant to be the ending of this era and is their transition to a new concept (although they will keep the rock, it'll be different) also, in order: Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You & I; are all one story.

I feel like you guys would definitely like Day6 and FTISLAND. I highly recommend checking them out! They're both bands and they play all their own instruments so they're a lot different than regular kpop boy and girl groups :)

Hey guys, you should review the legendary Kpop girl group T-ara. They started in 2009 with 6 members, then added a couple of members at different stages (promoting sometimes as a 7/8 member group for a couple of years, but eventually continued with their original lineup of 6). Since 2017 they're in hiatus. This group always have had a classy image with a retro vibe and sound to them, combining pop, rock and even disco. Don't believe otherwise, these girls were the first known group to mix EDM with Kpop with their single "Sugar Free" way back in 2014. T-ara is also a unique group in the sense that they continuously presented different concepts, they were known as the chameleon group in Kpop, they tried everything. Loved your reaction. You should check out TRAX. They are a K-rock band, so I think you're gonna like their songs (for example Scorpio and Paradox) Aside from TRAX i would also recommend Gfriend's Me Gustas Tu or Rough. They have some awesome guitars in their songs. I also recommend you guys to check out TVXQ's Triangle, Keep Your Head Down and Getaway (it's a non-title track but really awesome and I think you could like it), Mirotic and Love In The Ice (But the last two aren't K-rock or anything like that) The last songs I wanna recommend are Super Junior's Don't Don, Jaejoong's Mine and Taeyeon's Devil's Cry (that's the most metal like kpop song I've heard so far). You should really check it out, because otherwise you're going to miss some great stuff.

If you like "Dancing over guitar solos" you should check out ANGERME, anything from 2014 to 2016, they had a really power metal vibe. J-pop has a lot that sounds just like this (or rather, Dreamcatcher sounds like jpop)
