RM (the rapper who started off) was told not to use filters in an old v-live video so he put it in this video 3. Suga (another rapper) was told he was like a grandpa, slow and lazy as well as super pale. So he wore a sweater around his neck and Snow White on his shirt. 4. Jin was told he was conceited and too vain, calling himself beautiful and handsome so his lyrics said “I’m in love with myself” It’s smart things like this that make BTS amazing 💗

There was also 1. People said there were too many members, which is why they had all the 3D people 2. People said they didn't like them bc they were korean, so they wore hanboks and included other korean culture things in the video 3. People said kpop was weird and too colorful, so they added a l l t h e c o l o r s and used anything that came to mind I'm pretty sure there was more, but that's what I remember

In fact, there's a reason why this video is so colourful and different from the previous ones, and that's because with this mv they wanted to portrait the celebration of being who they are, the acceptance of themselves as idols (which is underappreciated and disrespected by some artists and people in Korea, these people think "idols" aren't true artist or singers, so they are not taken seriously) Due to this, BTS has been through for a lot since they debuted as many other groups, too. But now they love themselves by who they truly are no matter what haters say and do.

Yes, but it's hard to read them and pay attention to everything in the video and the song. We like to go back and read the lyrics after we watched the first time.

BTS informed army that IDOL is inspired by South African music and dance while still adding traditional Korean symbols and music. The African beats are layered with traditional Korean rhythms, as well as the pounding of a Korean folk percussion instrument used in the performance of traditional Korean farmers' ensemble. It's 100% African + Korean, hence all of the giraffes you saw on the mv background. One of the dance they used here is the Gwara Gwara. And if you listen to their digital album Love Youself Album on itunes,spotify or tidal there's a rock version of DNA & Fakelove that I think you'll also love for sure and a collab for IDOL feat Nicki Minaj.

are you sure it was the dna part that was the problem? didn't you also react to a live performance in that triple feature? that's usually the problem because the live stages are usually owned by a broadcast company who don't want people using their content. most kpop record labels don't care if you react to anything on their main channel because they know it promotes their stuff. this problem has happened before and it's almost always live performances that get the strikes.

Actually there was a temporary block on some music video reactions for songs that are on the new album Love Yourself: Answer shortly before the album was released. For some reason it only affected some reactors, but a bunch of lyric videos and some fancams also got blocked at that time. But I heard they've recently started unblocking videos now that the album is officially on KZread. BigHit and BTS have usually been supportive of reaction channels so it seems like the blocks are usually temporary (except for the War of Hormone videos, which I guess have a complicated history).

This is so random but I’d kill to see you guys react to your favorite metal mvs. Or like some good throwback MCR or slipknot or something wild like that. Also if you would like another kpop suggestion please check out BLOCK B- Very Good

i think bighit start doing a copyrigth for a certain song that included in their new album “Loveyourself:Answer” i heard some of reactor also get a copyrighted, but after the MV Idol release bighit giving back the reaction. not to all reactors , random tho... and yes bighit didnt take down the chanel. DNA rock version included in their new album side B track, its one of my favorite!
