Great video! I have to wonder if the new skid plate will gather and hold mud and water?
You over filled. The fill bolt on the MC cover is located higher then stock. Need to fill manually unfortunately.

Correct. Unfortunately it's hard to get a simple answer on how much to put in. My 2020 JT Rubicon just states fill to the drain hole on the stock diff cover. smh

@@karlpatton1249 1 1/3 quarts in the front, 1 2/3 in the rear. There is a thread somewhere on jlwranglerforums

Shouldn’t you start finger twisting bolts first, you going end up stripping someday starting off with power tool
Not for nothing...but you should drive around and then check diff fluid level again.

Absolutely, always do. I should have mentioned that, thanks for pointing it out.
You used way too much RTV. You only need a thin bead around the cover and only around the inside of the bolt holes. You could wipe around the outside of the cover but, you can’t wipe out the inside. Over 40 years of work at dealerships, you don’t over use sealer

Thanks for the tip
